I bought a new StealthCam for my favorite game camera location. In this video, I unbox the camera, go through the settings, set it up in the field, and I include some fantastic video footage of moose during the rut.
Great content here, R! It's fun to see what animals frequent your spots. Limpy made it! (lost part of his right antler later but he made it)...the camera performs very well, it handles the different light conditions easily. Thanks for this info; we're looking into getting more trail cams so this was timely and useful. Thanks!! Really enjoy these!
@@RaisedinAlaska Ugh! I hope he went down valley but then again, there was no escaping the snow dump this year from what we have heard. Fingers crossed for that young guy. I always root for the under...moose!🤞😁
Ahhhh shucks! We don’t get to watch you unbox!!?? I usually fast forward through those parts! 😉 I agree about the SD card size. They make up to a gig but nothing but problems! This spot always provides so much footage. Very nice and crisp videos! Poor Limpy! I hope he makes it though winter! 🧡
I saw him again after the first snow and he was still limping. There is currently 3-4 feet of snow out there now. I’d be surprised if he can get through the snow effectively enough winter over, but I hope he does.
I noticed you miss-spoke, it's a 32 GB not MB card. How do those Duracell batteries last? I only use lithium batteries in my cameras. several years ago I caught a cow moose with a broken (looked like a dislocated) from leg. Have you had any issues with SD cards going bad? I had 1 do that. Now I only use these cards (SanDisk 32GB High Endurance Video MicroSDHC Card with Adapter for Dash Cam and Home Monitoring Systems - C10, U3, V30, 4K UHD, Micro SD Card - SDSQQNR-032G-GN6IA ). They are specifically made for body cam video where there is a rate of re-use.
