Oliver Skipp is a class act, maybe one of the most underrated players in the prem. His athleticism, ball retention, positioning, tackling and passing are up there with the best. I would even go as far as to say he is a better passer of the ball than Ampadu. It would be a masterstroke if we can get on a permanent deal.

I just watched this video and let out a roar of appreciation to which my American wife thought I had won the lottery. She doesn't get my maniacal exuberance when it comes to the zig zag emotions that following Leeds entails.. I thought I should share that as there's only one "soccer" fan in my apartment building who follows his hometown club Liverpool..

Norwich fan here, honestly having Skipp in your team in the Championship is like having a cheat code, great player at this level, would love him back at Norwich

Conor said exactly the same thing about Piroe when he was extolling the virtues of signing the former Swansea player.

With some clever wheeler-dealing, we could end up with a really decent squad next season. However, for me, having a strong squad only works if Farke is willing to give players more time off the bench. That was the issue last season: when we needed players to come on as impact subs, they'd had so little game time, they couldn't make a difference!

Another sidewards and backwards merchant in my opinion.. We've got enough of them. Is he better than Ampadu in there? I doubt it (not much in it though of course.) We've got enough ball retention players already, we need a creative, high IQ 10 to help push Georgi out wide.

As per what you said yesterday, you reckon we could sign skipp on a perm for 10 mull. So why would Dortmund sign gruev for 10 mill if as you say skipp is an upgrade. Wouldn't they just sign skipp instead for the same money?

Olly you are way too hyped so I’m here to bust your bubble 😎 England should have won the Euros last time and should have won the World Cup too, but Southgate blew up at the end and let’s be Frank here he has had and still has the best squad. Reminds me of FARKE blowing up at the end and has the tactical noise of Southgate 👍

Why all the excitement about someone who retains possession but doesn't score goals? Our possession stats were off the chart anyway with the team we had, we don't need more possession. What we need.(in my opinion) 1. An experienced goal scoring central midfielder. Our team was mentally fragile at the business end of the season and one goal from central midfield all season was very poor 2. We need an aerial threat from corners. So many corners and so little to show last season was a huge drag on results. The number of games we could have got something more rom (Sunderland, Blackburn, Stoke) if we had a goal threat at corners. Needs sorting out. With Bartley and Jansson we got about 15 goals a season from corners, I would settle for 7 or 8. Also a new experienced goal scoring CB frees Ampadu to play DCM if Gruev is sold. 3. A right back, Byram ok, good player at the level, but can't play every game so he is back up. A new RB frees Archie to go into midfield AND STAY THERE and not keep getting moved back to RB, he will be amazing in midfield but has to stay there. Happy with Junior F at LB, I was not his biggest fan but last season he was very good at this level, no need to change. My view is that we sell Gnonto, Summerville and Meslier to balance the books. I like Meslier but he is worth £20-25m due to age and experience and potential and any decent keeper behind a good team will do the job. Southampton beat us 3 times and they had Alex McCarthy.. I also like Gnonto and Summerville but I think with the right purchases we improve and remain on the right side of the FFP rules. Just my observations as a season ticket holder and ex coach.

Keep Archie for another season if possible and buy a proper defender where Archie has had to play out of position the majority of the season.

Ipswich fan here. When I read the thumbnail `Game - Changer´ I thought that Leeds had suddenly had the good fortune to have the same fantastic ´backers´ as our club !

Anyone not a Leeds fan finds it fucking hilarious that somehow Leeds make "signing of the season" every year yet stick to Championship obscurity 😂. Something doesnt add up. Also Leeds fans slated the signing of Winks yet Skipp is identical but not done as much in the game...

Why the hell would skipp drop into the championship, an a swap for archie is sooooo wrong, archie already is better than skipp an has sooooo much more to come than skipp......
