oh my god I feel that: "once I buy it its everywhere" comment. When I started collecting I searched for a chrono trigger locally for years and once I finally caved and bought it on ebay I found it complete in box locally the very next weekend. Ive seen it locally a couple times since. I have so many expiriences like that.

I bought windwaker for ~€30 a couple of years ago, some months later a friend found windwaker for €5! And that one even included OoT too, the one I bought didn't come with the Masterquest disk

Throughout most of my teenage years, I would always look for Final Fantasy 9, but never once found it. I was always looking both online and in retro stores for it, but it was never there. After I bought the digital version when it became readily available, as if to tease me the very next day, my local retro game store had them brought in in bulk. I still bought it the physical copy just so I can say I truly own it, but still.

It's always price drops me for me. I held off on buying Ocarina of Time 3D in hopes that the price would go down but as we know Nintendo stuff barely ever gets discounts. Eventually I caved a bought it full price and the next time I saw the game in stores it was half off!

The Zelda collection does have a reason for not including Link to the Past and the Gameboy games. It says so somewhere in the game but I forget exactly where. Link to the Past got a GBA port, so it and all the Gameboy ones were technically already playable on GameCube using the Gameboy Player. The collection was just there to bridge the missing gaps and have the entire series playable on one console. Not saying those games shouldn't of been on there but at least there was some kind of a reason

So with all of that in mind if you have the Zelda collection, and the gameboy player you could play all of the Zelda games up to twilight princess on the GameCube. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Probably pointed out somewhere, but the physical version of the PS4/Switch/Xbox Megaman X collection has both together; them being separate was only for the digital release. Also fun fact! That collection has the SNES version of X3, while the Gamecube and PS2 X Collection has the PS1 release of X3. Weird, but yep.

When I was younger, my dad got me Pac-Man Collection for my SP. Later on, my sister got me another Pac-Man game and I was like, "YES, GAMING!!" And then, I realized it was the same game. So I had two Pac-Man Collections AND the purple Namco Museum AND the 50th Anniversary edition. Needless to say, I am now a Pac-Main in Ultimate.

What is amazing about Scott is how he does not beg for subscribers or likes, or that he talkes about channel updates or anything. There isn't even any annoying intro. Some of the best imo: - Sonic Mega Collection Plus (worth alone for the amazing unique menu music, I'm serious!) - Ace Attorney Trilogy (though not everyone likes the redrawn graphics) - Megaman Zero Collection - MGS HD Collection/Legacy - Parodius Portable (Japan exclusive), - Kirby's Dream Collection (could include the GBA games but ok)

Vinícius Gomes Zero ZX was also pretty good in my opinion. -Achievements -Save Assists so you don't rage quit when you game over in Zero 1 or in Zero 2 -ZX and ZX Advent -10 new remixes for the pre order (a lot are mediocre in my opinion, except for Crash, Trap Factory, and Trail on Powdery Snow but I appreciate the thought.) -Z Chaser is fun -Bonus Cards that change the gameplay in some way -You don't have to insert Zero 3/4 into ZX to face bosses Etc. The only thing I'm mad about is the lack of the other arrangements (Telos, Idea, Mythos, ZX/Advent Tunes, Resonant Vie, etc.) Adding those would've been cool (especially since Fenri Lunaedge has one of the most boring themes in the entire collection/Zero series, and has an arrangement that's slightly better.)

I got the mgs collection 2 years ago for about 25$. But I’m pretty sure that was also because it was the last copy on amazon. One problem I have found with the collection is that my mgs1 code is broken and apparently half of the codes packaged never worked either.

dream collection is great as a challenge stage and history compilation with kirby 64 thrown in and works incredibly shit in terms of playing other 5 kirby games seriously look at how stupidly darkened and poorly looking the snes games are, both of those are meant to be beautiful and colorful games but here we are. no option to disable green gb filter, no SGB option, nothing

@@sambridgers9543 Fair enough, that's the only area where Xbox is surpassing PlayStation at the moment. Hopefully Sony gets their act together for PS5 and maybe even lets us go all the way back to PS1. I wish.

The legend of zelda collectors edition didn't include the gba games or link to the past because lttp was already made available on gba and the oracle games and links awakening were also playable on gba. The GameCube picked up the slack for games that weren't already playable on an at-the-time modern system

They were also good picks. I'm not a fan of the second game, but I know it's a popular nostalgia trip for many Nintendo gamers, and the N64 games are still some of the most unique and fun games in the series. The first might be a hit or miss for some people, I personally didn't get into it much until I picked it up on 2DS (I prefer smaller screens for NES and SNES games, they just look so much crisper with the pixels reduced in size), but even then I could see the appeal.
