Star Wars Outlaws is the upcoming Ubisoft Star Wars Open World game made by Massive Entertainment. The Star Wars Outlaws release date is currently set for 2024 on PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. The game is set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi where players will become Kay Vess, a clever scoundrel in the galactic underworld.
I am INCREDIBLY excited for this game and can’t wait for more Star Wars Outlaws gameplay, trailers, story details, and news updates to breakdown and analyze on the channel!

There's alot of work to do yet in the game animation, detection issues, sync issues, etc etc but as it is now and what they showed was pretty awesome it was very good

People already bagging it and is not even released, people just love to complain about anything these days. I think it looks great and will give it a chance to actually play it before passing judgment like a lot of Star Wars youtubers are.

If you ask me, they should work on it for at least another 9-12 months and really polish those blemishes, ESPECIALLY in regards to animation and syncing up. Simply put: It's not ready. Or I should say I don't think it'll be ready and super polished in time for August this year. Sadly Ubisoft want this out the door to get some of that Skull and Bones recovery money if I had to guess. I think it'll be a flawed but good time. Especially on a technical level.

I am cautiously optimistic about this. I have more faith in it than if EA made it. At least itll probably run well on my rig....lets just hope its worth the money. NO PRE-ORDERS

Hellblade was released 7 years ago. Made by an independent team of 20. Massive entertainment has about 700 people. Now compare the facial animation... wth?

@@YorkReacts I am sorry :) No you didn't even mention that game. I simply gave an example of a game that was released 7 years ago, had been in production for 3 (or so) years, and still has significantly better facial animation than the one shown in the trailer. I just think that it's embarrassing for Ubisoft. They make those characters look ugly. BioWare did the same thing with Mass Effect Andromeda. Those are huge studios, and indi developers seem to invest much more love into their projects than those AAA studios. Just my observation. Doesn't mean it's correct.

@@Evolver10286 yeah I have to agree with you. They butchered this girls face and model and it looks nothing like the original actress and model they used as a scan and reference. Wish they made the character a bit more appealing and stuck to the original mesh of the mode and actress

Massive Entertainment is a Ubisoft studio. I think you were thinking of Supermassive Games which is a separate company that has worked with multiple publishers before.

Ohh I didn’t dive into it enough I thought they worked on other titles with other companies ect now that I look at it all of the games ect have been with ubisoft. 🤔 hmmm actually makes me a bit worried I’m just hoping they play test this a bunch

Hate the pricing structure on this game. They are pushing everyone towards subscriptions. Can't believe they want $17.99/month to play when the other ubisoft games have been lackluster.

sadly this game will not do well cause of ubisoft and the prices they have for their editions and having some of their content that should just be in the base game locked behind it and also adding a monthly subscription and also a REQUIREMENT to have internet connection to play a single player game

Love the video. It was very interesting to see a point of view from someone with industry experience. I'm am not too optimistic story wise for another Ubisoft title. I really hope it doesn't flop like Skull and Bones or many of the current Ubisoft line-up. Cannot stand current Ubi leadership.
