Nothing goes to waste in Africa. Meat protein is a vital commodity in Africa. Hunter, guides and trackers eat some small portion of meat around the camp fires. The remainder is turned over to the local chef-tons or numerous orphanages. The hunters take the trophies . So it is a win/ win situation. Americans, Europeans have never been truly hungry, so they do not understand.
The people in this comment section don't realise the money this generates to fund animal protection I mean the reserves they live on are protected from the poachers
I heard a seminar speaker talking about hunting a hippo. He said they fed 1000 people with it. He said they are trying to bring lions back to original sizes or weight that reached 700+lbs. I guess we dont realize how big those animals are.
Some people dude why click on the video if your just gonna come down to the comment section and complain no one wants to hear that I respect what these guys are doing keeping the population down I know some ppl don’t know but have you ever heard of a wildlife management area it’s where u can only hunt so many hunts in that spot so that’s probably the case with these guys they aren’t just killing animals for the heck of it we do this bcs animals get out of control and destroy the woods bcs they eat all the plants like wildebeest they are everywhere in Africa and we help control the population so next time you see a hunger try thanking him for keeping nature beautiful
505 gibbs would be my rifle to stop a charge. A ryan breeding bolt rifle is my ideal. 24 inch barrel, 3 shot magazine, Ghost ring sight, no scope. They make 4 shot magazines, but in a charge you only ever have time for 2 shots.
If you only have time to fire two shots in a charge, your choice is stupid.. a double rifle makes more sense. You ain't repeating a shot faster than a double with your bolt action. . There's also more room for error with a bolt action.. I've seen a many a man short stroke a bolt action and a pump shotgun under stress. Double rifle is the way to go for African dangerous game.. and I can think of a lot better caliber choice than the 505 gibbs
I know I'm 4 years late, but the only animal the tribes in Africa don't eat is the hyena. It's like hunting wolves, coyotes and foxes here in the states.
Is big cat meat even tender and good? I genuinely want to know, I've tasted alot but not enough different meats and have been curious about big cat meat, so does anyone know?
To hunt when it not nesserary for food supply to family, indicates that something vital and critikal is missing in that specific individuals mind, heart and soul..
Hunting wether you kill anything or not is one of the funnest things you could ever experience. Just the thrill of being out there and trying is a great feeling. Plus it can lead to some of the fondest memories a person will have.

Oh no ,,,,,,,,I'm gonna keep watching ,and hope I see an elephant , or a cape buffalo stomp some hunters guts out ,or watch one of those big cats drag that person away by the scruff of their chewed up neck after that leopard or lion has choked the life outta that tuff guy that was hiding behind that gun . He or she won't have to worry THE HUNT ,,, anymore ! ! ,,,,,END OF STORY ! !
Tosco isto.
Fr like not the endangered animals Buffalo there’s a lot of that but leopards lions and shit like nah that just ain’t right they should get in trouble for hunting the endangered animals
@@joelgarcia3492 Am a Tanzania should form a ( porcher and foreigners criminals) hunting party job name is shoot to kill on the spot or if you have weapons in reserve areas you will be delt no different.
@@joelgarcia3492 haha you know gov can keep a blind eye sometimes( the only thing will be if they fight no forgiveness but if they surrender will have to arrest them either have them in the labor camps or just let them loose next to a Pride of lions !!but 2yrs in camps not good have to feel the pain. I forwarded this video to someone deffinately this companies should be liquidated and arrest those killers
These guys aren't real men. Hunting for meat ist okay, but shooting for trophies, especially lion or leopard is sick. The guy shooting the leopard is so exited that he killed such a beautiful animal - normal people getting exited by watching and taking pictures of those impressiv creatures...
What does a person derive from killing a living thing for fun? A feeling of empowerment with your guns, guides and jeeps? So you think this is normal-give your head a shake. Is this your inbred breeding that makes you think this is the norm? LOL!
HELL ,,,,,,,,,I WANNA KEEP WATCHING IT ,,, I REALLY DO,,,,AND HOPE ONE OF THOSE CREATURES GET THE UPPER HAND ,AND RIP THOSE BIG BAD GAME HUNTERS TO SHREDS ,THAT OUGHTA BE SOME FUN FOR THOSE BIG CATS GETTING EVEN .. MORE POWER TO EM ! ! !
@Nairu Kawa Oh I see. I thought I might ask because all I knew was how people think that trophy hunting is bad when it isn't now I have a better understanding of it all. I was interested to know. Thank you all for helping me find out about all of this stuff because I'm a keen hunter myself, I was brought up on it. Thank you for your help
Actually most hunters do it in a way where the entire animal is put to use and hunting in the right amount is good for the eco system, putting the population of a certain animal slightly will increase alot of other animals population and the cycle continues if we remove ourselves from the ecosystem we actually damage the ecosystem obviously it only goes to a certain extent because at some points it becomes excessive and bad which is definitely a bad thing no two ways about it
Seeing that Jag go really sucked. Such a beautiful animal. I’m not too familiar with the workings of the conservation aspect of big game hunting but I’m happy to be educated if anyone’s willing to tell me. When for example elephants or giraffes are shot down how are their numbers replenished to match or exceed what’s being taken away? It takes 2 years for a baby elephant to be born. Again not casting judgement just trying to get a better understanding of how it all works
It cost big money for those hunts. Then the meat goes to the native people The money goes to hire men to stop poachers from killing the animals to sell on the black market. They also hire people to keep check of how many animals are on the range so they want be over hunted. If you check into it all you will see if not for these hunters many of these animals wouldn’t be around.
If it wasn't for Hunting, and hunters injecting huge amounts of cash, these species would not survive and conservation of these animals would not be possible. Hunting is good for conservation of these species.
TOM ERWIN POACHING and the illegal killing of these animals is the problem. Regulated hunts like these bring mass amounts of money in for the conservation of the species as well as the immediate and surrounding areas the animals inhabit. True hunters that care about the environment are what have kept many species alive and thriving today.
well, my opinion of the whole matter is this .it doesn't matter what my opinion is ,cause you're gonna launch your 375's , and 458 magnums no matter what.LOCK ,N LOAD HUNTERS WHEREVER YOU ARE ! !
.270 is enough for leopard, but i think minimum caliber for Dangerous game in dark continent is .375 Or maybe the shot is not vital , miss a lung maybe , so the leopard still stand and fight back till last breath, that is truly dangerous job when following a wounded leopard,
