*Arin:* "I think I could... _sighs_ Fuck, I dunno..." *Dan:* "If there's any quote of you that perfectly describes [Sonic Boom], it's 'I think I could... Fuck, I dunno.'" *Arin:* _bursts into laughter_ "When did I say _that?"_
@@invaderperidot I'd wager that the majority of people who think they want to play 50 turns have never done it before. I remember doing it one time; it was probably close to 15 years ago and I remember it like it was yesterday. Pretty sure I have some kind of PTSD from that experience. Lol... _"Where were YOU when you decided to play 50 turns of Mario Party?"_
@@turntsnaco824 My cousin and I started one in Mario Party 8, and would play it now and then each time we went camping in our grandparents' RV. We went camping once a year. It took us three camping trips to finish it. XD
I don't know if you've ever played the virtual console, but it is ridiculously easy to open it. Any button that wasn't on the original controller to the game you're playing opens the menu.
My favorite is when they were playing the Mario and Sonic Tokyo Olympics Game, and they were playing an event that required so much button mashing. In the heat of the moment, Dan not only pressed the home button, but out the switch into sleep mode and messed up the capture. Then Aron proceeded to yell, “YOU PUT IT IN SLEEP MODE! YOU FOOL!” Technical issues on Game Grumps are so entertaining sometimes.😂
You know actually for all his grumbling (which don't get me wrong was quite entertaining), he actually wasn't that far off from winning. Like if he'd done well enough to win the minigame star that alone might've been able to swing things.
How difficult was Wario? He played the waiting game SPECIFICALLY to get the heat off of himself and onto DK, then swooped in for the kill when everyone was too fat on gorilla meat to do anything.
Dan stealing the star from Arin and Arin just saying it's real always gets me. That will go down as one of the most underrated moments in game grumps history
I'd rather have that than MP5-7's coin-doubling microphone garbage and other ways that veteran players can screw others over. MP1 had a few board mechanics like this, but at least it and MP2 had the decency to RNG it or clearly and simply spell things out for everyone, otherwise.
I was waiting with the anticipation of a horror jump scare for Arin or Danny to accidentally reset the game mid-match from the pause screen and lose all their progress.
Every Mario Party is like deja vu with these guys. This was a completely new series but I kept saying to myself "I feel like I've seen this episode before".
@@kjarrett99 it was a joke from a couple of years ago, back when Jon was absent for so long that people on the JonTron subreddit replaced him with Scott the Woz
27:51 got me laughing EVERY TIME & I've watched this almost three times this week. Arin's got that special way of just making me LOSE it over the stupidest and quickest lines xD
I just noticed that in Arin and Dan's playthrough and Jon and Arin's playthroughs, Arin's always Peach, Dan's Yoshi which doesn't appear in their series, Jon is Wario who appears in the Dan saga as a CPU on Hard difficulty and Jon knew Mario Party 2 very well and beat Arin most of the time on their series. DK was on Easy in both eras. Coincidence? I THINK NOT!
27:27 : I don’t know what’s more hilarious the fact that Dan called it when Wario got the star, or that I can hear Jontron spit laughing when this exact thing happened and saying “Looks like my luck just turned around!!”😂😂
I want an actual study of the first 4 Mario Party games to determine the average number of outcomes the players actually have influence over. If it's less than 50% you gotta start feeling weird even calling it a game.
Considering Arin hasn't ever learned anything in his life, I doubt it. Also, Dan wasn't a sore loser in this, he was valid in every single complaint. I played the first 3 games in this series till I was 17. They single handedly make me into the masochistic asexual that I am today.
Dan in episode 1 “50 turns let’s do it …not like we have anywhere to be “ Meanwhile in distant future “ Omg ! Another mini game i just want it to end!!!!”
It's amazing how the one central trait of Mario Party games is their ability to drain the life from Human beings. Terrible entertainment products, but possibly the most efficient way to destroy a person's soul.
Well, it can be entertaining to watch someone’s soul be destroyed, especially when that person is a friend, so in that way they do succeed in entertaining
