this volume covers the first 23 episodes (basically 24 with the double length debut), so about 19 hours of content, maybe 2 hours of progress but it's GRUMPS ZELDA BABY let's goooooooooooooo #gamegrumps #gamegrumpscompilation
this asshole has made 3 companies, makes so much money... HOW?! I WENT TO UNI AND I BARELY CAN FIND A JOB. HIS ADHD SEEMS WORSE THAN MINE. Lol. I find it ASTOUNDING. Lol.
Crazy right? One of the first things people do in this game is investigate the giant holes all over place. But ADHD Hanson somehow ignores them everytime. It's honestly impressive.
Even though I know it's futile I kind of hope that they remember their jokes about eating secret stones by the time they find out what canonically happens when you do that.
@@spidey5558 currently i’m not sure, i’m very behind in episodes since i’ve been taking care of family for the last few months. i certainly hope they have by now at least if they haven’t but i’m still trying to catch up to the current episode.
What do you mean? Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness is Arin's favorite thing. What are you trying to say that Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness is not his favorite? Of course Arin's favorite is Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.
@@hsousa54 and I could say the same to you, my dude. Nobody asked me for my opinion but comment sections are exactly for this type of thought. I have no more and no less of a right to say what I said than you do. I felt that my opinion was worth sharing and would also be worthwhile feedback for the channel. Whether you agree with that or not is not up to me but you are ignoring the primary purpose of a comment section in general. Nobody asked for this response and it's certain that nobody asked for yours. However, I would argue that my comment adds a whole lot more to a discussion of this video than yours did. About 50ish people agreed with me and gave me a like. I would say that would mean that I'm not alone in thinking the thought that I deemed worthy of posting under the video. So I hope you realize that while your comment added nothing and overall said nothing, that it in general was wasted effort. Just like this comment that I'm typing out now. You're not going to change and stop trying to spread needless negativity and spark arguments where there shouldn't be. But I'd love it if you did take a step back and reevaluate your priorities in life. Anyways, I hope you have a day, you fuckler.
Arin accidentally throwing his bramble stick and screaming about it and then never throwing anything ever again is the funniest and most infuriating thing ever
I LOVE Dan's laugh at 1:02:21 where it sounds like I'm trying to be subtle letting helium out of a balloon but it's not working and I'm doing it in bursts. 😂
It is so funny to hear Arin gratuitously repeat and even spell out Tulin's name when they meet only for both of them to call him Turin at best from that point on
Wow, having 19 hours cut out of this really puts into perspective how many laughs we've had along the way! Well, Arin's finally figuring out how the game works, hopefully it won't be as painful to watch in the future! (to future me, I'm so sorry. It was painful, wasn't it?)
Yeah but you can't deny Arin is playing like shit and Dan never helps. You can't blame people for getting mad. And what do you mean you "will neve understand" its so obvious to understand why people get mad. 😂
@@vicentegeonix the thing that is hard to understand is that - it's like complaining that water is wet. - people tend to forget their learning process after hours of playing a game. I vividly remember having some stupid deaths on TotK at the beginning even though I had cleared BotW weeks after it released, or not understanding a lot of things about the game's design until days later
@@MJCKCA Again is not hard to understand that someone not learning basic mechanics of the game can make people mad, they have over 20 hours in this game and have made no progress! Unless you are as dumb as Arin (a 37 year old man that has been playing video games his whole life!!) It makes no damn sense he is so bad! It just doesn't make sense! Its so impressive how horrible he is! AND HE PLAYS VIDEO GAMES FOR A LIVING!! Its so weird how he never learns from his mistakes!! Its sometimes funny but is mostly annoying 😂, i doubt you are worst, so dont you dare compare yourself to Arin, you know you are not as bad as Arin, so don't make excuses.
@@MJCKCAthere were people calling arin an idiot for things he still hadn't encountered for the first time. But because THEY knew, obviously EVERYONE knows
21:59 made me lose it. Something about what they were saying and then a rock flies in from off-screen just to demolish Link and carry him off with it back off-screen. edit, 59:39 and 1:11:30 have similar vibes.
This is already as iconic a compilation as the breath of the wild one. Y'know, the kind that you gladly click on if you wanna eat something and it's in your recommended? Yeah, THAT iconic. Also looking forward to the future volumes!!
May I use this comment to vent out? I didn't play or watch other TOTK, but people really get irritated at Arin who first time play this game, While he's also have to reading, entertain us, understand both game and story while also try to make fun gameplay And also learning of other games control. I can really understand why Arin don't want to read those comments And this is not the first series that these kind of thing happend. My man need some slack. Sorry I just love these Grumps too much.
I love them too, but the point of watching them play the game… is to play it.. and that requires making some sort of progress! And the thing is that this is a repeated issue- at times, rather than using a walk-through or pausing the episode to see what to do, Arin struggles through it stubbornly. It quickly becomes less entertaining and more frustrating when he rants about games when he doesn’t bother to understand what’s going on. It’s been years, there’s no good excuses. Quick edit: I and others have also noticed that sometimes this attitude does affect Dan as well- he’s more willing to see the game through and understand the story, and Arin doesn’t always do that, so constantly cracking jokes or whining kind of ruins the experience. Again, I love them! But it sucks
@@QuikVidGuy In regards to using walk-throughs, the only time I’ve seen genuine backlash was the time they played Sonic DX and named the creator of the walk-through they were using, who received a lot of harassment thereafter. In that case, I argue that the hate was completely justified, because that was a really stupid move on their part, what with the size of their fan base and all. And with everything else, unfortunately people that want to hate will always find a reason to do so. I was mostly referring to common reasons I and others have become frustrated with Arin’s play-throughs of games.
I think Arin's attitude regarding this game can be summed out in one thing they said in a more recent episode: Basically, everytime Arin is *told* to do something, he doesn't want to do it, but everytime he discovers something for himself he finds it super cool and interesting. So that's probably why they haven't made much progress lol Seeing Arin consistently screw up and die in the dumbest ways is very funny though 😆
Omg thank you for this. I knew I wasn’t gonna be able to handle how arin plays this as soon as I watched the first episode 😂 I much rather wait for the funnies to be put together
I never understood why and how so many people got so annoyed about Arin not knowing knowing how to play games, until he struggled for ages to shoot something that he could've just used a homing arrow for.
Ive decided to subscribe to you. And its because you cut Dan saying "you have a lot of hearts-" right before all the hearts are violently ripped from them. I just loved that
33:37 you can hear in arins voice that he just does not take this fight seriously, expects to press a button and win, because it’s Zelda and it’s easy, and he just gets whapped off the screen. This game isn’t as hard as dark souls but the enemies are fast and they will get ya if you aren’t being careful. They truly are deceptive; everyone has played this game or botw with that “ya, ya, ya” and it just doesn’t work every single time in this game. I love it
I love them, but after having 300 hours in TotK, my patience is way less in this series. Arin did a great job so far but lmfao, so many times I was like "Ascend!" All the way to episode 50
Multiple people have said that, in future animations, Arin should be Link, and Dan, Tulin. Now I imagine, whenever Link-Arin dies, Tulin-Dan gets a fairy out of his pocket to revive him.
Part 1 of them completing 1/4 of the main quest and then having a ton of building shenanigans. I knew going into this it’d be rough but man it’s still funny.
arins self imposed zelda achillies heels take a shot everytime hes died cause of one of these TOTK/BOTW -anything to do with explosions & fall damage MM - not using a shield OOT - not taking off the hover boots
I appreciate you creating and sharing this compilation, as always; but HOW could you leave out the "Princess Daphne's overloading!" bit from the scene at 48:38?!? That was one of my favorites from this entire series XD
Lots of people complaining about this series (which I know you can complain and enjoy, and it’s hard to watch someone struggle the specific way Arin does) but I’m having a lot of fun with it! Honestly I just put it on like a podcast while I play games, and every episode is a banger
Do you ever feel like when you're watching these episodes, Arin is the Id, Danny is the Superego, and the Ego is whatever videogame they're mauling like children?
So, Arin is impressively more terrible at totk than botw, perhaps worthy of the top 5 games he's the absolute most horrible at. Comment your picks below
im so glad i watched this compilation instead of there actual episodes, watching arin play this for 80 plus hours would make me lose my mind... an hour of it was almost enough on its own XD
