The very matter of fact way the game makes absolutely insane statements such as "the carbuncle ate itself" or "amy is cursed", with zero explanation, as though they just told you the weather forecast, it kills me

+Orchid Braid For context, the Carbuncle is a fairy disguised as a Forcejewel that eats the other Forcejewels in the inventory of the player who possesses it. It can be obtained in certain mini-games and from drawing the Eggman card and having the roulette land on Outcome #6. When there are no other Forcejewels left, the Carbuncle resorts to eating itself, hence the message that says "The Carbuncle ate itself."

Sonic Shuffle allows its AI to see hidden info such as your cards, knows how to handle bad items, all while explaining the mechanics to you, the player, in boring dialogue boxes with broken english. ACCIDENT!!

@@neal2399 The Carbuncle is a bad thing, because it eats the other Forcejewels in the inventory of the player who possesses it. It's also one of the punishments a player gets if they draw the Eggman card.

Out of all the sonic games they made they only have 6 good sonic games

This wasn't made by Sonic Team, it was made by Hudson, the same folks who made the N64 Mario Party games.

If by "stunning" you mean "makes me want to jump out the window and run headfirst into oncoming traffic", then yeah, this game is pretty stunning.

its cause this is a dreamcast game and on the original controllers you have screens so other players cant see your cards but you can see yours that stuff doesnt translate on an emulator

I hate to say it, but Mario parties can be like that too, I have a lot of grievances with Mario party where I won most minigames & I still lost due to random bullshit

@@BlueToadFan Well, it would be like playing Uno without seeing your cards if that was the ONLY problem with this game. Lmao. It'd be like playing a more complicated version of Uno where just about every aspect of it either sucks ass or is meaningless AND you can't see your cards. RIngs are still meaningless. Items are borderline meaningless. You still have random events happen that don't make sense. You get punished for not being close enough to the gemruberald. The minigames are nonsense. Collecting the gemruberalds doesn't even mean much because most of what determines whether you win or not is given to you at the end, like Mario Party if the bonus stars mattered infinitely more than the regular stars that you collect. Yeah, so like playing Uno without seeing your cards, except not at all and way worse than that. And I just found out that the characters have specials, too. Sonic gets to move double the spaces if he gets the same number twice in a row. Tails, Knuckles, and Amy all get special spaces on the board that they can use to travel places. Big the Cat, if he gets a 6, can choose any space from 1-6 to land on. Seems just as balanced as the rest of this trainwreck of a game is.

I dunno, I think there have been a couple of games of Monopoly and Wheel of Fortune that would give this a run for it's money.

@@RabblesTheBinx Wheel of Fortune, probably. Haven't seen much of Monopoly. This just stands out to me though with a a specific type of Angry Danny.

i hated it when i first got it cause i wanted Sonic Adventure. Then after a while i picked Amy and started winning. Then it started getting interesting. It's actually playable on the actual Dreamcast with a VMU, or if you're playing Single Player.
