Hosmer was released a few months ago. I agree, Bellinger should start over Mancini. They need somebody that can be reliable defensively at that position. Bellinger’s that guy. Plus Tauchman is having a better offensive season than Mancini. That would be the ideal starting lineup

Lucky? Really? His tracking of the ball was perfect. His timing on jumping for the ball was perfect and it went right into the webbing of his glove. Most definitely all luck there.

He is our future catcher. Do not know why we signed a catcher for triple A when Nunez got hurt. Dfa Barnhart call it a day. Unless they are worried about wear and tear on Gomes.

Not sure what inning it was, but it seems they brought him in for Mancini's batting spot and then had him stay in at CF and moved Bellinger to 1st. Good move!

Tauchman came in at the top of the 9th to hit for Mancini. How about that for timing?

Trade Stroman? Are you crazy? He had a couple of off games but stop with the foolishness. If the Cubs are going to make a solid run you don’t trade one of your All-Star pitchers.

@@ChristIsK1ng They resting him now on Ir. I think we could of called up 1 of our Top SP. Wicks, Ben Brown, Horton and plugged them in and got under 4era ball. Jmo. Start to create another Steele. Wesnieski will get the 2 starts and has looked good. Still, you tell me 2 Top 100 guys for Stro I would of done it. Even turned around and gave a ptbnl they got for Rich Hill who can give you under 4era ball. Didn't wanna sell, just Stroman. I get them not needing Lh Closer with Brandon Hughes Cubs top Rp last yr on way back.

@@ChristIsK1ng I agree if we make playoffs if he's on 🔥 we can win a 🏆. Especially with these runs. Pretty sure Cubs are 1st in Runs by a lot odd enough for this year. Horton, Wicks and Ben Brown are all at 3A. They all have Ace-2-3 talent. Really nice seeing our guys come up great like Steele. Imagine if 2 of those 3 Top 100 guys are that good or better. And we did it naturally. Then Stro, I think he gets us 2 Top 100 guys. He's a P so not part of Chemistry. If anything some of his quotes and pitching have hurt us of late. 2 more Top 100 guys would take us from the #4 farm to 1. I just really believe these next guys are ready and should of been better than Stroman. Maybe they all come up in Sept. Amaya and Mervis will. When we call up guys this team shouldn't lose in Sept. I thought Stro was burnt out...Cubs agreed cause he's on IR. Promise he isn't hurt, banged up maybe. This is rest hoping he comes back on 🔥. In playoffs he is pry the better choice than a Rookie...maybe. These guys ranked higher than Steele was so...we will hopefully see. I just believe we can draft and develop Pitchers now after years of making it a priority. Smyly will be replaced by 1 of those guys. And Barnhart we should of sold to get Amaya bats. He will get them in 3A tho. Guys will come up in Sept and take jobs in the bullpen and on the bench at least. Minors season ends when call ups happen and it doesn't start their clock so I expect them to use those guys but I think we in the place now where we can just plug in a Sp. Ben Brown, Wicks, Horton. All No.1 type guys.
