Great game additions and amazing range of games at CEX Sittingbourne, Kent. I also visit many charity shops in Sittingbourne, Kent in my hunt for retro games to add to my retro game collection. Can I find any Retro Game bargains?
So join me OGDuffy as I visit the CEX and Charity shops in Sittingbourne, Kent to add games to my personal collection😉

Love your content as always. Wonderboy brings back so many memories as a kid I remember I used to always get stuck at the very end at the maze part where if you went the wrong way you would go back to the beginning again so many hours spent back when you couldn’t save your progress and had to sit there until you completed it.

Shaw trust 🤔 Ps4 star ocean steel book was in there.. Saw a xbox one game in a box.. But the name I forgot.. Very hit n miss in Sittingbourne..

Have you got Heavenly Sword on the PS3. £2.50 in CEX. made by Ninja Theory also made enslaved and Hellblade. Really good game played through it earlier in the year.

The Sega Master System (SMS) is my favourite system and Wonderboy in Monster Land is fantastic. Wonderboy 3 though is the greatest game on the SMS and if you've not played it then you've missed out!

Game online are doing 3 for 2 on some pre owned games and they have Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - Definitive Edition PS4 for £17.99. Can trade them in for voucher at CEX for £18 each if you can be bothered.

I'm finding less and less in charity shops and I visit places multiple times a week at 9am, guessing less people are donating and more shops are being wise and putting stuff on ebay.

Yeah i noticed that too. British heart beside me used to be a goldmine. Now they have games in only pc stuff.

Ya, they're all doing ebay and even if they weren't... they would likely sell the retro in store at above market rate.

Noticed that myself as iv had some very dry patches. I do keep an eye out for dvd boxsets though as they're not as well scrutinised by charity shops and some do have decent resale value, as do some specific single disc movies. Always worth scanning in barcodes of obscure black and white movies you come across as iv had good trade in luck with them in the past. That interestingly includes early doctor who dvd release as well (William hartnell especially)

@@fredd4495my local British heart overcharges on pretty much every game. Quid titles in cex they want 3 for. So they're definitely not researching more speculating on what they've been told and jacking up prices on product that aren't worth the price they're asking. I can't remember the last time iv opened my wallet in that shop

Another great blog og...im in ramsgate and travel around been up to sheerness charity shop hunting how gd is Sittingbourne? I see they have a cash generator. There are not many of them around down here, but if theres a few gd charity shops ill have to come and take a look around..

I might have to come to sittingbourne for a game hunt now. There’s to bits o want for the Dreamcast in Money Generator but they looked a bit overpriced.

Great game hunt OG. Great find with Wonder boy on the Master system. I've just picked up a Sega Master System II very recently, it was literally like unboxing my childhood as it was the first game console ever had in the early 90's. I'm planning a big video on the Sega master system soon. I'm getting it all set up this weekend. I'm so excited to play it. As for game suggestions, I really recommend Dark Sector on PS3. It's a really fun third person shooting, heavily inspired by Resident Evil 4 but with a cool sci-fi twist to that formula. Have a happy weekend, my dude 😊😊😊

Good finds! And a very nice collection! Defo saw Wet at one point, worth picking up as the price has gone up from £5 to £12 at Cex within a couple of weeks ... bound to go up more. Keep up the good work! And also, what are your posters? They're really cool. I can make out Red Sonja but not the others.

Have you explored the 3D compatible PS3 games? I am looking for a 3D tv myself for this reason. I have Ghosthunter on PS2 but it's sat there for years now and to my surprise, it is also in the PS Plus catalogue.

Shocked to hear you pass the psp games! PSP is such a good little console, the games are really well done too. I fully recommend you try some psp titles, like burnout, assassins creed, tekken, Smackdown vs raw, hammerin hero, sonic rivals While most the games I listed could also be played on consoles, the psp was very charming, portable experience makes for great bite sized adventures, rather than slugging away for weeks upon weeks, making the games very re playable.

Hi matey, I am considering narrowing down my collecting…. Too many systems and I just cannot start collecting for another system like the PSP matey. Can see the fun in collecting for handhelds but just don’t think I can add a new system to collect for right now 😝 Sounds like you have a good few games for it buddy 😉

OG do you have the switch online expansion pass or whatever it is called? I find it a great way to play some great retro titles inexpensively...although you only "rent" them which is the only draw back.
