by far the most straight-forward explanation of the rules for this game I have seen thus far. I have watched all of them and not been totally sure I understood fully until I watched yours. Great job!
Awesome! Thanks for this crystal clear, precise and concise explanation. You are setting a reference in BG teaching. I have just discovered your channel and subscribed immediately.
Wonderful video and tutorial, thank you! This is a great channel to learn the rules of a game and I’m really glad to have discovered it. There have been some updates to the rules regarding scouting. It’s now optional and there can be more than 4 existing cards on the bottom row (you just discard the ones you don’t want). Also there are now only 9x2 sets of character cards in the box, not 27.
Thank you very warm welcome to tha channel! :) I know there's a new version published and thank you for summarizing the differences, as I will not have a capacity to make the updated video.
What does Herbert and Fancelot (2 of the kings) do? Is it when I use him/her, I get the corresponding purple manta and discard him/her for the rest of the game? Or do I immediately get the corresponding purple manta at the start of the game if I choose Herbert/Fancelot as my king then discard him/her into the box right after that?
Hi, I'm sorry I don't have the game anymore, I don't know how these 2 king cards look like and what abilities they have. Can you at least copy the text of their abilities, please? Thanks...
@@nithrania-gameinanutshell Hi, thanks for replying! The text of their abilities is actually can be seen in your video at 2:10-2:30 Herbert: After you gain this lord gain “+2 Power Purple Manta” then place Herbert into the box Fancelot: After you gain this lord gain “+2 Coin Purple Manta” then place Fancelot into the box My take is if you choose Herbert/Fancelot, immediately get the “+2 Power / +2 Coin Purple Manta” at the start of the game then discard Herbert/Fancelot out of the game
It's not in the rulebook, I always read the BGG rules forums and I found this: boardgamegeek.com/thread/2298969/additional-actions There are some small details (like this one) that I believe should have been included in the rulebook, because it's not something that is obvious from reading the rules.
