Game of Life 2 - Superhero World DLC! (4-Player Gameplay) 

This episode had everything. Talk of x-men and daddies and shady neighbors AND Toad singing!

I was so obsessed with Aenne’s “Adopted Family” as in they adopted the entire family- and I would watch a movie or play a game of Aenne sweetly seeing these Cards for 5 years but on the 6th no card comes. Aenne and their partner think “oh maybe they just figured out we aren’t the intended recipients” but then Aenne reflects on the pictures and sees a sinister pattern forming. Their eyes linger on something behind the lenses. In the reflection of their younger dog’s eyes a glint reveals a flash? No there’s no red eye -or in the dogs case green eye- it’s metallic. There’s something there, something inhuman. Aenne aligns the cards messages and reads them vertically instead of across, it’s a call for help. The final card seems more direct. “Happy Holidays, hope you’re enjoying the snow, we’re deep in it!” With arrows in the snowflake pointing at ‘deep in it’ and the letters ‘H E L P’ are a slightly different shade of blue. Snow trips? Every year… yet it’s the same amount of snow… on the same day? With climate change and the winters as of late, snow has become less and less common and winter seems to drift later into the year… They aren’t in [insert home town] they haven’t been for a while. Aenne’s got to get them- *opening credits roll and title song comes to an end* “Home for the Holidays” (I missed half the actual gameplay😂)

Always love a good Stumpt podcast. Really interested in the X-men family dynamic. Like how does Storm fit in? Is she the approving Mom to Wolverine's tired Dad?

When the new indie film of the year turns out to be about this tall person I will remember this video

So the story behind most of the things at goodwill with family photos and whatnot is one of the following: 1) owner died and family just boxed up the dishes for donation rather than trying to sort it. 2) Owner was a person going into an assisted living facility and so they donated all their old dishes to a Thrift Store. 3) Owner died and survivors didn't have the energy to sort through the effects and just donated them. 4) Owner went through a divorce and wanted to get rid of everything that reminded them of their now Ex. And then specific to Salvation Army Thrift Stores: They were in the personal effects of someone who was homeless and went to one of their shelters and the object was "confiscated" from them for whatever reason.

I tried to pay attention to the map but Aenne's story was just to entrhawiling!

While I do enjoy the new maps & characters I still wish the devss would prioritize flavoring the cards more than the environments. Simple things like Dueling to see who was the top hero of the month or "hero suit ripped, pay --- to replace it" style tax, save the bank from a robbery to gain a piggy stamp, unveil the villain's plan to gain smart stamps or show up at a kid's bday party to gain a heart stamp and so on. Would make the maps far more fun and distinct from each other depending on how silly they get with them like "Harpy Aenne terrorizing the city! Roll to see who can catch them first!" XD

I can only imagine that the adopted family's kids is a fan, saw this video and tries to sneak in stumpt merch whether or not it gets to Anne.

They don't know Caramelldansen, the Swedish dance MV with Anime girls! 🙀 Still, at least it's not those gifs... 😅 Then again, I was from the Hatsune Miku era... Also, congrats to the monologuing villain Aenne!

Prof. X is the rich granddad. He's not so much absentee, he's indulgent and lets the grandkids get up to way too much antics. Wolverine is the dorm dad trying to keep everyone safe and in bed on time, but not being over bearing.

The synopsis reminds me of Tall Girl, a movie about the perspective of a 6'1" tall teen & her struggles with romance (& daily life?) I think. Haven't actually watched it, just a vod bashing on how it doesn't really work nor portray things properly or something XD

I just need to say, regarding the "Stumpt School" idea, that I've really learned some useful real life things from watching y'all over the years. Psychology, Art, Political and Social Studies, Geography, Biology, IT, Game Development, Writing, Mental Health, LGBTQI+ Studies, and Pop Culture, to mention some.

For this episode, I heard and couldn't comprehend any of it. To my brain it was useless and/or meaningless. But I stayed to the end...

The sailor moon-esque character reminds me of Kasane Teto, not gonna lie. Also, early internet was a much better place. The Laissez-faire style content where everyone policed themselves was and is so much better than the sanitized internet we have today where you say anything that isn't family friendly and it gets nuked.

I'd like to say something about X-Men. I know that they are a part of Marvel, but has anyone else ever felt like the X-Men universe is actually separate from the rest of the Marvel universe? So often i've felt like you have Captain America, Spider-Man, Thor etc. all in one universe. But then the X-Men seem to have their own completely different universe.

On the note of the shady ass wannabe filmmaker neighbor... His idea sounds roughly inspired by an Amazon original series called "I'm A Virgo" about a 13-foot-tall man who gets to experience the world around him for the first time after being hidden away from it for so long by his aunt & uncle. So his idea isn't even that original to begin with.
