Hi everyone! I'm AL, and this is my piano journey which I've been doing since Dec 2022 here on RU-vid.
In this video I played this beautiful music from the opening theme of the famous HBO Television series "Game of Thrones". I never watched any episodes (sorry to all the fans!), but I do love the music! I've done my research looking for piano covers of this soundtrack, but I mostly came across with "regular" versions, over and over again, with just little variations. Beautiful, but not able to give me what I was looking for. So I said... if I can't find it, I'll do it myself! And here we go, I sat at my piano and let all my feelings and emotions going through... What makes this piano cover so special is the second part, from min 01:45, where you will notice more passion and momentum. No matter what the viewers may say about it, I consider this version of Game of Thrones the MOST BEAUTIFUL ONE I've ever heard. I've put all my passion, efforts and dedication, all condensed in three minutes of pure emotions. I'm really excited to publish this video and let other people enjoy this music. I learned the Mark Fowler version, but this one has some extra notes and variations that I like. I'm going to copy parts of your cover and add them in. The theme from GoT was the 2nd piano piece I learned starting 3 years ago - at age 68.

Hey Mike, thanks for your message. Unfortunately, I don't read sheet music. This is my personal arrangement as I only play by ear.

@@alpiano353wow, that's impressive. Just a tip - you can play it live and record it as a midi using some software like cubase. And then it can write the sheet music automatically.

A few drops of imagination (and willingness to distract from reality) and this movie becomes magical. The music is no exception. But you need to watch a good number of series before it starts to get into shape.
