@@hereticsign Everything was perfect in terms of scenario, story, characters, acting. It's one of that shows that will made you empty and sad when it finish because of its perfection!
IMO ITS THE BEST SINGLE SEASON IN ANY TV SERIES ITS ASHAME THE OTHER SEASONS SUCKED SO MUCH IT KINDA OF RUINS THE ENTIRE SERIES WHEN U MENTION IT IN GREATEST OF ALLTIME
It's honestly not that hard.... google "Double exposure After Effects Tutorial". What was hard was whoever had the idea to make it for the first time, as an intro for a big series. His name is Patrick Clair btw.. guy is a genius.
@Daniel its not just about the tech aspects but about the amazing direction. The scene selection for the music is amazing and has artistic quality of really high budget stuff.
Master Of Disguise That’s RU-vid. The more effort the fewer views. If you want millions of views you have to record yourself playing a video game or giving makeup tips.
Such a perfect job recreating the TD sequence down to detail. Not only all the compositing and layering, but matching scenes/characters - like when the Night King raises arms like that guy in revival church camp.
Are you kidding me? I just had a look at the original GOT intro (read the books, didn't watch the show) and it looks like a late 1990s computer game animation. This is obviously better by a whole order of magnitude.
Wow dude, this is pure quality. I have no idea how you did this, but this is honestly higher quality than the real true detective intro. Mind blowing stuff, nice job.
*Bran:* _From the frozen northlands, a looming shadow grows_ _Hidden in the branches of the trees of gods of old_ _That grow their roots far deeply into the earth's own core_ _And when I touch their barken skin, my fingers run with blood_ *Jorah:* _In the hushing dusk, under a swollen silver moon_ _I followed through a sea of grass, to watch her beauty bloom_ _And strangest dreams kept hauting her, of red doors and foreign strands_ _She stepped into the burning flames, and out with unburnt hands_ *Catelyn:* _When the last light shines upon the throne to the howling of the wolves_ _The mountain cats will come to drag away our bones_ _But I'll rise up from the river to take my last revenge_ _And void will be my voice, and the rope will be my hands_
Holy shit this is so detailed. I noticed a lot of parallels to the actual True Detective opening, like the Night King raising his arms, Cersei with the seven-pointed star and wildfire, and the shot of that bare back. There's also that little bit at the end with Stannis with antlers, which is a double reference to his Baratheon name and the antlers of the Yellow King. Amazing stuff I also loved that you put Miguel Sapochnik as the director. He's the best out of the GoT directors. For those who don't know, he directed Hardhome, Battle of the Bastards, The Winds of Winter (the amazing season 6 finale), and the ill-fated Battle of Winterfell
i feel like in the books, the white walkers are basically the AI of the children, who eventually turns on everyone because they don't want to be just mere tools for someone's purpose.
Can't believe people are just finding this now. I've watched this numerous times over the last few months since discovering it. Glad it's finally blowing up!
Wondering why this doesn't have millions of views ? Simply because only few people see both Game of thrones AND true detective. But not us, we are men of culture !
Yeah, RIP Game of Thrones! Was nice to see you till S8E3.. Sadly. Still, great song and the editing is dazzling!!! Thank you for bringing back memories of a lost time! :) Wow!
This is a Masterpiece. And i add that in that album of The Handsome Family there are two tracks named "If the world should end in fire" and "if the world should end in ice".
@@Vexarax Tom Hardy is the only one that saves this show with his acting, honestly. The further it goes on, the more absurd it gets. Mary sue protagonist (half-Native american half British guy, somehow taught black magic in Africa, absolutely no weaknesses) peak diversity secondary characters, incest, nonsensical plot with most of the intrigue happening outside of the viewer's eyes and never actually explained (how does Delaney know everything about everyone?), completely underwhelming final battle. And guess what, I still liked it.
GODS... this is so good it makes me want to watch BOTH shows again... probly only gonna watch True Detective(season 1) tho since... you know... Game of Thrones shat itself
