I mean it was a beautiful scene but what does father, smith, warrior, mother, maiden, crone, stranger mean? I'm young so I have no idea what anything is.

Jexone also, the look she shot him when he volunteered to lead the expedition north of the wall. You could see the desperation & heartache in her eyes, you can even see her shorten and hold her breath before she attempts to get him to stay by saying, “I haven’t given you permission to leave...”. I’ve watched quite a few series if I do say so myself, and I can say one thing for sure when it comes to love and couples, this show NAILED it. Idk if that’s just how great the actors are or what, but you can see in the show how practically as soon as they clap eyes on each other, they’re hooked. After Drogo, all through the seasons she grew more & more, becoming stronger and more stoic as she climbed the ladder of power, never showing her tender side again, except a scene or two with her scaled, fire breathing chilluns. Then Jon came, and I was taken aback at how her steadfast, stoic, ruthless and queenly attitude became quickly destabilized whenever she was in Jon’s presence. I’m not calling her weak, it has nothing to do with weakness, but I just wanted to point that out. I mean it like she is experiencing a feeling for this man, Jon Snow, that she hasn’t felt since she was the wife of Khal Drogo. That’s why I don’t get the group of fans who complain about Jon & Dany being rushed or forced... well what about Drogo? She was arranged, basically forced to be his wife and lover, and she STILL fell for him. Does it really need to be pointed out to said fans that in real life, love knows no bounds? It’s just there, you don’t think it, you FEEL it, as if your heart is within her chest, and every time she is away from you your soul aches to its core for her to return to your arms. That’s why the love between Daenerys & Jon didn’t seem forced to me at all. It seemed just right, in fact. I felt like the whole show lead up to that moment, because both of their characters were focused on by the show in such a similar way. It wasn’t just poetic, it was practically meant to be in my eyes, I thought to myself many times that if Dany made it across the sea back to Westeros, the only true love for her would be good ‘ol, honorable Jon Snow. The tension was good too, the whole time I thought one of them was gonna just lose control and haul off for a kiss lol. But I sure wish they could have fleshed out the ending scene more, like instead of the soap opera type scene where no words are said and he simply walks into here room and shuts the door, and it immediately cuts to them mid-whoopie on that comfy fur bead. Sure it was a good scene, the way they looked into each other’s eyes said it all... but I think it would have paralyzed the audience with Jonerys ship-fever if there were some words said before any action took place. Like maybe he knocks and she lets him in, her eyes already yearning for his warmth, and his returning the same look, and instead of giving into her passion which is almost overflowing because they are so close to each other, Dany makes one last futile attempt to postpone the inevitable( just like the scene where he tells her she does deserve to rule the Kingdoms and her heart almost melts, and she realizes she’s squeezin’ his hand a lil too intimately so she pulls away and leaves him with a “get some rest..”) by looking away and changing whatever subject they might’ve been on to one of business instead... so Jon being the cool under pressure, awkward as hell around women type of fella he is, gives into her little game and talks business as well, or tries to at least... for the tension becomes too much to bear, and Daenerys realizes she stopped talking midway through her plans for the coming war, and had just been looking into Jon’s eyes, as his gaze was upon her eyes and nothing else mattered to him in that moment, for he hadn’t heard a word she said. They stand there, gazing into each other’s eyes, and they both notice how oddly uncomfortable it feels to be so far away from one another, even though they are a few mere feet apart, barely halfway across the cabin from each other. Her breath begins to quiver, her exhales & inhales short and shaky, and to her own amazement she cannot meet his gaze, she’s never felt this way before, not even for Drogo. She feels for the first in a long while, vulnerable, and weakened. Overpowered by such a divine feeling of love, she cannot keep her walls up any longer, and she turns away from his gaze and faces her back to him. Just as she does this, Jon can think of neither family nor friends, nor war or peace. All worldly things leaves his mind in this moment, and the only thing that is in his mind and heart is a burning, unimaginable love for the woman in front of him, and though she is close she seems so very far away, and he knows he cannot stand it any longer... he closes the distance quickly, like the sly and silent dire wolf he is, giving her only enough time to turn her head around towards him, and at that point he is close enough that her face is buried in the leather over his armored leather chest, the top of her head and forehead fitting just so in the crook of his chin & neck. They don’t lock lips right off the bat like so many predictable shows do...it needs to be as close to the real thing as possible. So then they stand in each other’s embrace for maybe a minute, leaning into each other’s bodies and Jon burying his nose into her hair as he takes in her scent, Dany pressing her still cold cheeks against his warm neck, pressing her lips on his collarbone, taking in his smells as well. In that small moment they seem as one, inseparably desperate for one another and wanting nothing else but to stay like that, intertwined in each other’s arms with no space between their bodies, and never leave that cabin(just as Jon & Ygritte were in the Cave of Popped Cherries), or their embrace. Finally after like a minute of the most intimate, affectionate standing nuzzling session you’ve ever seen, Dany finally lifts her head to look into Jon’s eyes, and she can barely keep them open for the raw, intimate emotions she is feeling is too much to control, her passion burns so strong for Jon that she truly melts in his arms, barely able to hold her gaze up into his eyes for a second before her eyelids collapse and a tear or two of pure passionate love squeezes out from every heavy blink of her lilac eyes, and try as she does she cannot open them again except for a mere half a second, she cannot take being this close to his face without kissing him, but all she can muster for a kiss is a couple small, rapid upward twitches of her head, which only reaches his scruffy chin. She tries to lift her face to attempt a third time, but again all she can muster is a few rapid upward chin movements and a small whimper when she realizes she has to breath... and as she begins to take in her breath in shaky inhales after holding it, Jon finally presses his forehead against hers and holds her lips with his own and releases, over & over again within the span of a few seconds, rapid but deep and intimate kisses, and between every one he feels and hears her shaky inhales and exhalees, still catching her breath even though it shortens with every passing minute. She almost faints from the raw passion and almost disregards the need to breath entirely. she is experiencing from him the same unrelenting passion she gives him in return, all these pure, powerful emotions & feelings wrapped up into one moment, and words aren’t enough for them, it’s only through touch and breath and warmth of each other that they can express their feelings, and even then it’s not enough. She groans mid-kiss, an immensely satisfied, affectionate groan that sends vibrations down his throat and into his very lungs. THEN, is when the scene that’s already there should kick in, when their full Monty and makin’ whoopie, rolling around in that fur bed.

@@WhaleofDreams What a comment. That was so deep man. The fact that they are just looking at each other's eyes and dont say any word makes the scene even more powerful, it is a masterpiece. And as a fan of the series, even if it felt wrong cause we know that Jon is also a Targaryan, i wanted them to flirt, cause strangely the tension between them overcame the incest itself, even more than between Jaime and Cersey. As u said, I think the actors were just too good for us, and from the first episode they met you could already feel they were attracted by one another. Sometimes love doesn't need time, you can't escape it you can't deny it even to yourself because her charm makes you capsize every time . When a man loves a woman, he can't keep his mind on nothing else...

Daenerys? After all this time? - Always.

One of them was always going to die in the end...tragic. There was no way in hell the characters that represented Ice and Fire in the story would both survive. At least they're where they belong. Drogon probably took her body back to Valyria, she had no place in King's Landing. Jon's back in the real North where he met his first love and he's with the people who he saved and respected and fought for him in return, the wildlings. Ghost for company as well, Jon will find comfort.

Only if kit & emilia had married and if they had baby it would be dany & jon baby they r not together in tv nor in real life😪

S8 Bran is something of a mass murderer. If you take S8 seriously (I don't) there is evidence he planned this so Dany, Jon, and Cersei would knock each other out of the way. So he got the throne at the minor cost of getting thousands of innocents killed. D and D may have been too dumb to realize this but a lot of the time Bran chooses to say something when Daenerys is around (or not say something he should) it hurts Dany in some way. Bran picks when to tell Jon his linage. He doesn't wait till after Cersei is dethroned and Dany is done mourning for Jorah he makes sure the relationship she has with Jon is complicated just when Jon could be an alternative shoulder for her to lean on when she needs it. And Bran knows sharing info at the wrong time can get people killed. That is why he pointedly doesn't mention Jamie pushed him out the window years ago. Now that could be Bran being nice but if he can see the future possibilities (and chances are he can) he also knows there is a chance Jamie being around in the future can put more stress on the trust Dany has with her hand Tyrion thus putting Dany is a more isolated position. Bran pointedly does not warn Dany about Euron's ambush even though he can see things going on all over the world in the present tense-it took time to equip Euron's ships with scorpions so Bran should know. And it isn't like he doesn't know how to warn people either since he made sure everyone knew about the undead dragon. Its like Bran wanted Dany to loose it and picked moments when he may have a window of opportunity to add stress to Dany's life to act (instead of acting to prevent it and sparing her and thousands of innocent people). And if Bran can see the future or at least possible futures then he knows the only way for him to be king is for many people to die. So he pushes for that future. That kinda makes him a mass murderer, a manipulative one as he has to trick others into both doing it directly and taking blame openly, but a mass murderer through his plotting. Now maybe Bran just didn't care and let all the deaths happen (also making him a terrible candidate to be king) but since he took an active role that may not be the case.

He could very well have told Jon about his lineage AFTER the battle for King's Landing, etc.....but the writers wanted to hurt, and undermine, and betray, and isolate Dany, and give her so many losses, that they figured she would just decide to KILL almost a million innocents, OUT OF THE BLUE!!

It led to a lot of potential interactions between characters and moments that should have been but were cut out because there was no time for them. The mainframe of the story ; Jon killing Daenerys, Bran becoming King don't completly satisfy me obviously but I did see it coming since I have read the books and the books do highlight Daenerys's way of ''Fire and Blood'' far more than the show does. Although, the freaking Night King and white walkers not being the final threat was really dissapointed to me, and for them to be dealt with in one episode was complete garbage but yet again victim of lack of time, not poor writing. I just hope people realise that the main frame of the story will be the same in the books, although a lot more content will be surrounding it and more time will be invested too so things won't be as rushed. But Daenerys will turn mad and Jon will kill her, and doing this will furfill the prophecy of Azor Ahai by defeating the ''darkness'. Darkness that we misstook for the White walkers when it was actually representing the ''Wheel'' that Daenerys spoke of all this time ; The system of Tyrany that has been in place for far too long.

She helped all those people when she didint needed to. Tells you a lot about her character. She is ruthless but to her ENEMIES. And how does "breaking the wheel" help in this ending? There is still a king,only difference is that king is chosen by lords which actually can bring even more wars in future than it did before. Atleast with old system u had stability.

For 3 main reasons ; they have no idea they are related, they looks like to really be in love and we are in medevial time, not on 21st century ! Incest had a different degree than now... And you can't deny this moment was not beautiful. Plus, the name of the books are "A Song of Ice and Fire" they are Ice(Jon) and Fire(Dany), they are MEANT to be together!

Did you all notice their last words to one another... Daenerys - *Together..* Jon - *Always...* Feels. Definitely a tragedy. This music alone nararrates their whole story. It sounds romantic, sad, full of passion and a dangerous love.

Actually this is the theme that plays during scenes relevant to jon being a targaryan hince the name "Truth" also a variation of it plays while he is touching drogon and a few other scenes

I totally agree, it may have been a little short, but the focus on their faces and the expression of their love just by them staring at each other was beautifully done. Definitely the best and most meaningful sex scene in the entire series for me.

Their eyes said more than they ever could've spoken. They looked into the eyes of their one true love and knew it in that moment. This track only furthers that feeling for the audience.
