This is my bagpipes and orchestra cover of the opening of "Game of Thrones".
I already recorded this same theme in 2012, so I decided to prepare a new, improved version.
This video was recorded in the castle of Teba, Málaga (souther Spain).

So basically... I need to get this off my chest Not only the bagpipe is amazing, but also the visuals. The camera angles, the lighting, the background, the cuts, every single thing about this video looks professional as frick and could starr in a Hollywood movie, from the sound quality to the visuals. Yeah except this is an Asturian bagpipe and it's filmed in south Spain (don't know why she didn't filmed in north Spain).

Conde de Montecristo ¡Gracias! La grabadora es la misma, pero el otro vídeo es de 2012 y he aprendido muchas cosas sobre cómo grabar y sobre edición de sonido. En cuanto al paisaje... la otra vez me morí de calor porque era agosto e iba con un traje regional. Esta vez me morí de frío. Hacía muchísimo viento y al final me tuve que ir porque no podía parar de temblar, jajaja. Podía venirse el equipo de HBO y grabar en Málaga, jeje

Impressive! What kind of pipes are those? I’m learning the Highland bagpipes, and I don’t recognize some of the fingering you used, so I assume you’re using a different tradition of pipes.

Thank you! It depends on the bagpipes. This is an Asturian bagpipes, and it can play one octave and a half more or less.

My bagpipe is from Hevia, Parrado y Aragon's factory. However, I think it doesn't exist nowadays.

robabnawaz That's a Gaita Galega. A spanish bagpipe. The sound of it bears great resemblance to the scottish pipes.

Well. It is not a gaita galega. It is an gaita asturiana (asturian bagpipes) (it's another kind of Spanish bagpipes)

Emilio Navarro Lopez Si! La otra versión era de 2012 y se nota la falta de medios y de experiencia por entonces. En aquel vídeo me atreví a salir al exterior por primera vez, pero la cámara dejaba mucho que desear y no sabía cómo hacerlo. También he variado la versión y he metido la orquesta acompañando con lo que he ido aprendiendo en estos años. Me alegra que te guste :). A mi si me invitan voy encantada a los salones :)

Is an Asturian bagpipe i don't know if it had a brand but is the bagpipe of the region of Asturias in northern Spain there's also the Galician (also in northern Spain) bagpipe but it doesn't sound the same.

Hola! Llegué a Málaga en 2007 y recién llegada intenté contactar con el centro asturiano pero cuando me explicaste dónde estaba, en aquel momento sin conocer la ciudad ni a nadie, a mí me pareció un mundo llegar hasta allí desde Huelin. Años después contacté de nuevo y ya pude ir allí pero ya no estabas en el grupo, pero me hubiera gustado coincidir para tocar algo juntas, yo toco gaita gallega. Esto de que RU-vid quitara los msj privados es un rollo.

What type of bagpipe is that? I play the GHB and have seen English bagpipes which are kind of similar (1 drone) but haven't seen one like yours which looks like a GHB but with only one drone.
