During the changing of the royal guards at Buckingham Palace the guards surprised the crowd by playing the theme song of HBO's series "Game of Thrones" 15/7/14 For licensing/usage please contact: licensing(at)jukinmediadotcom
Elizabeth of House Windsor, the second of her name. The Queen of the English, Scots, Northern Irish and Welsh. Khaleesi of the Commonwealth and Mother of Kings
DANNYdaMANO They even use a Lion and a Unicorn as the symbol of Kingslanding or whatever, Just Americans trying to make us look like the bad ones and Scotland the good..
The 1.5 million people from Scotland who wanted to leave the UK had honestly watched to much Brave heart. Honestly they get there hatred toward us in England thanks to America.
+2meroyn It may not be her title, but it is a bit odd to deny that the Queen of the United Kingdom could be legitimately referred to as the Queen of England. England is, after all, a distinct country within the United Kingdom, of which she is Queen.
+Hell in Hibernian and +CatholicGeekery Her Britannic Majesty has expressed the same view as +2meroyn, despite the fact that (for example) an independent Scotland would probably retain her as Queen of Scots, which is what Queen Anne was until the Acts of Union of 1707. I'm all for Scottish independence and an English parliament for England, but as matters stand, none of the constituent nations of the UK is a sovereign state in its own right.
TheK9Queen lol yeah, Americans are so annoying at things like these especially in cinemas... I once saw some clips of American cinemas how everyone is so goddamn loud and screaming that you can hardly hear the movie, I would completely freak out if someone would be screaming and cheering like that it’s already annoying enough to hear people eating and constantly coughing...
@@sound9864 no he's German, jeez why someone as you have to make it a racial thing.... So all black Americans are still Africans?? He has the German nationality, was born in Germany and has a GERMAN MOTHER! What's wrong with you He's German and very happy with it.
I have some of his tv themes along the years here and then, thinking they were just "good, doing its job" music, but GoT score was basically him going super saiyan and match Howard Shore's 9000+ power on the lotr movies. The theme before the Sept explosion is amazing
Jonathan Japhet Harrington talked to her, she asked him what he did... doesn’t sound like a fan of Jon Snow to me.... believe he discussed it when interviewed by G Norton...
Butler - My Queen would you like to hear some music , the band is waiting outside ! Queen Elizabeth - I'm missing Game Of Thrones. Butler - Guards hurry up Queen's Orders , play Game Of Thrones soundtrack and don't geek out !
I'm from Manchester, so i'm happy with that analogy. "The King in the North!" lol I'd also like Scotland to remain in the United Kingdom. Great people ... and their giants are really useful in battle. :D
In fact, GRRM is based on much of the history of England. In the War of the Roses that faced the House Lancaster (Lannister) against house York (Stark)
If only George Martin had more control over the series, this level of love for GoT in the real world would have stayed prevalent to this day, and you wouldn’t get emotional every time the finale is brought up
I can't stop imagining what it would be like if at the end of the very last episode, just as Dany or Jon or whoever you want to win is being crowned, the doors of the hall open and the Queen walks in, surrounded by corgis. "That's my throne, bitch," she'd call as the SAS sweep in, killing all the show's survivors. Final shot is the queen on the iron throne, munching on a bowl of her beloved cornflakes.
I'm not a royal, but my husband and I were introduced as husband and wife to this song (before the reception started). Lol. Just part of the song was played, not the whole thing.
@@dumbr2098 And why you think Your ideias should prevail over other peoples ideias? Im against drugs and alcohol but I am not arrogant enough to think I am more important than anyone
I think many countries do this, i work as a royal guard in sweden and our musicband plays swedish house mafia sometimes haha, its a thing for tourists really
Meanwhile inside: "Sir?" "Yes, your majesty?" "Sir, someone's playing th GoT theme outside. I worry they might be planning a coup of some sort." "That is a possibility, your majesty." "Sir, would you send a few guards over here then, please." "Your majesty, it's the guards playing the music." "Sir?!" "Yes, majesty?" "We're fucked."
Comparing your little club of freaks to an army of absolutely incredible men that are trained phenomenally both physically and mentally and that put their lives at risk to make sure you can waste your life on shitty websites and talk about your favourite memes all day makes me a little mad, maybe I'm overreacting.
you guys sound butthurt af that le reddit army would absolutely demolish any countries armed forces. you have no clue the power of the internet. we are family. we dont forgive. we dont forget.
I'm american, and I get that Britain has amazing history and nobody meant to insult the country, so please, just shush about US and the UK. Not like we fought like brothers for the last century or anything. Fuck is this, people, the 18th century? And no, we don't all assume GoT is america's child. It's obviously inspired by Britain because, y'know, the US didn't even exist in the fucking medieval period.
Game of Thrones is unbelievably similar to the modern UK. If you researched attitudes (such as the north hating the south and the snow covered scots beyond hadrians wall) you'll find that the UK is basically Westeros but a bit less brutal
Elizabeth of house windsor, second of her name, queen of the united kingdom, the crowned on scone's stone, ruler of Commonwelth, mistress of swans, head of anglican church, owner of isle of mann, the solider princess, the eternal
nisi bonum George R R Martin confirmed this was true. Lancasters = House of Lancaster Starks = House of York War for the throne from the Plantagenet line. Battle of the Roses = real life game of thrones Dorm = Spanish Monarchy The Western Islands = Dothraki/Native Americans The Wall = Haydrians Wall Henry VIII = The very powerful ruler. King Edward = died as a child = Geoffrey/Tommen Bloody Mary = Cersie Lannister who killed everyone and burned them for being Protestant. Queen Elizabeth = imprisoned by Mary and then went on to become queen and very popular (beat off the Spanish Armada) = Danny (The true Queen). All of the Royals are very inbred (usually cousins). All of the European Monarchs are related.
TarantusMaximus leave the court of the queen of the commonwealth ( 7 kingdoms ) you are banished from the realm of Europe ( westeros ). You will be sent in exile to esos ( North Africa and Middle East )
+Freya Mikaelson in reality the royals on earth are even worse than those we see in the show.. who and what do you think inspired the author? in fact he even toned em down abit compared to real life historical facts.
