There's so much to absorb at first in this show, and you two did so well picking up on names and relationships, well done! It was a joy watching this, I hope you will continue watching ❤
Wow, guys, what a pick for your first ever TV series to watch. This show is among the best TV ever made, hands down. I'm not sure if it's feasible for you to post 2 episodes at a time, but if you can, I'm sure we would all be grateful.
Fun fact: when the Starks come across the dead stag and find the Dire Wolf pups, that's the very first scene that George R. Martin wrote. He had a flash of inspiration and wrote that scene on its own years before he ever got round to writing the rest of the book. He eventually came back to it, and thought he had a story he could build out of it, and the rest is (ongoing) history.
I love this reaction video and i cant wait for the next one! I am so excited to watch these 2 handsome, funny, emotional guys watch this crazy series! "Girl's consent is must!" Is so right! I loved watching this I love their reactions 🥰
I think jaime and cersei Lannister characters at end were brother and sister in the show which is why Bran was pushed off the tower. This is one of the best tv series i have seen in my opinion. It can be brutal but is very good. The actor who plays the leader of Gothraki horsemen has been in a few movies now including Aquaman i think.
Seriously??? ... They've watched ONE episode, and season 8 has to be brought up already? 🙄 Why??? Can't you just let them enjoy THEIR experience of the show, without trying to influence them about the final season with your own take on it?
@@Lilleandrea89 In your opinion, maybe. And in the opinion of many others (the vocal ones), but not in everyone's. I really don't care what you, or anyone else, thinks about it - but why does it have to be brought up here and now, that was my question. Do you really feel the need to broadcast your opinion at every possible opportunity? Give the guys chance to make up their own minds, that's all I'm asking!
Yay! New reactors to Game of Thrones. Welcome guys. So glad to be retaking this journey with you. I’ve seen this series many times and I absolutely loved it. Still my favorite show of all time. Enjoy the journey, you two.
There is going to be lots and lots of nudity and sex in the first seasons (too much and unnecessary in my opinion, I think it was to get people to talk about it and watch, a way to get attention) , it was already too much for Western culture, I think it will be a shock for you, I hope it will not spoil the experience too much.
" it was already too much for Western culture" Well, for Americans maybe. In some European countries nudity is not considered particularly shocking even on public TV.
I just feel for video editors with this series. There’s also quite a bit of background nudity, and you have to be really meticulous with it. Their work is definitely cut out for them.
Honored to join your guys' channel here! Your content, especially film reactions are so incredible! Much love and support from California! As a film university major and cinema enthusiast; I highly recommend watching and reacting to these films: *Jurassic World: Dominion [2022] *Godzilla [1998] *Constantine [2005] *Poseidon [2006] *Unstoppable [2010] *Deep Rising [1998] *Mortal Kombat [2021] *Species [1995]
This show SHOCKED Americans and honestly I think you guys handled this episode pretty well and followed along. I recommend keeping notes since the families and characters can be confusing!
FYI the intro title scene around 4:40 will change each episode to show the locations that episode takes place in. Can use that to get a sense where the characters are compared to eachother and if you see a new place show up in there you can expect to see it in the episode.
For comedy, I noticed you guys thoroughly enjoy it and you have done some classic and amazing choices too!!!! ;] Here are some phenomenal real hilarious ones too: *Hercules [1997] *The Mask [1994] *Land of the Lost [2009] *The Pink Panther [2006] I MUST EXPRESS, despite what possible haters may claim on here; that HERCULES [1997], made by Disney is absolutely amazing and hilarious; mostly due to the character of Hades, who serves as the comical villain!!!!
The producers should inform them that this series is a fantasy setting just like Lord of the Rings and as such it is not "olden times", despite the medieval-esque visuals, but another world altogether.
Producers may not even seen the series. There are many films they've seen and thought certain things which were wrong without the producer telling them otherwise bec I think they haven't seen the film either and don't really research beforehand.
@@deed2157 It doesn't really take much effort at all to do a quick search on the show to get a quick genre description and synopsis. We're talking about the producers doing a minimal amount of homework; they're sophisticated enough to do the bare minimum to let the guys be aware that the show is a Sword & Sorcery Political work of fiction with zero relation to our world other than borrowing visual trappings from Britain, Northern Europe, Southern Europe and Northern Africa.
Hope you enjoy the show and manage to get through all 73 episodes... it is a thrilling ride and everyone who loves movies and TV deserves to see it at least once. Best of luck!
I love how quickly you use character names...nice that you call them by name as they appear on screen; I'm sure this helps you remember. Also, fun response when Viserys told Danarys to "Make him happy." - you said, "Bloody Idiot!" 😁 Sadly, the medieval times which inspired this story (War of the Roses) did not take the woman's consent into account, women were to do their duty as wives...regardless of their own wishes.
This is such a great show. Since it's a very long show I hope we'll get several or more episodes a week. This is gonna be fun to watch again with them. 😊
If it also interests you, a lot of the story is based upon the war of the roses so it also also is sort of like watching a glimpse into European history, just as a fantasy
I watch react 4.0 the indian villagers react to this they just did S1😀 now even better Cinephiles react to game of thrones hope for 2 or more episodes a week 🥰
This show will keep you guys occupied for a while, but I do hope you react to Breaking Bad sometime in the near future. That show had about as perfect of a storyline as you can watch from a tv show. That will then introduce you to 'Better Call Saul' after that, which also was damn near flawless television.
Oh my goodness, guys ... you are in for quite a ride, watching this series!!! 😳 I love this channel, and I hope you keep watching, but be prepared for some brutality and explicit scenes!
They throw some much stuff at you - people and places - in this first episode that I wouldn't blame anyone for quitting. But it gets a lot easier after this and soon you will know all the main characters, no problem.
Well, I wouldn’t exactly say it’s not horror either, though not speaking in conventional genre terms. Much of the horror is just human behavior and how horrifically inhuman it can be. There’s an abundance of that.
It starts slow, but every season gets better than the last. The blatant sexual content is probably not a good cultural fit though. You are going to have to learn to tolerate it because the story itself is epic.
That's awesome you guys. I recently watched your reaction to the movie "gladiator". It was great. And now you are reacting to my favourite series of all time, I must now go all the way with you and rewatch it again. It will be quite a ride, I hope you enjoy this show as much as i do. Have fun.
Pay attention to the maps on the opening credits for each episode. Once you get into the story and learn the characters and regions. The map in the credits shows you what regions are featured in that particular episode. Again, this is an amazing show. But it’s violent, has naked peeps, lol. It’s about a medieval time and they don’t sugar coat the violence people would have endured.
It's based on the English "War of the Roses" between the House of Lancaster and the House of York. But, GOT is set in a parallel universe where magic still exists as well as . . . you'll find out later in one of the defining scenes of the series.
You guys are awesome! I love how fast you’ve caught on. It’s a highly complex, graphic, and violent story/series so one has to go in fully open to all that it brings and pay extra close attention to every detail… and you both are doing such an amazing job! My favorite part: “Oh no! They are f--ing in the doggy style!” 😂😂😂 Can’t wait for episode 2. You are in for such a treat with this series! 🎉💕🤌🏾
I wasn't expecting to see this series on this channel, but I'm here for it. Is their english level high enough to properly understand the series though? It's quite complicated, I wouldn't have managed to completely appreciate it without english subtitles. If they had a translation that'd be good.
Now that you guys are doing TV Shows.... I almost wonder if I should recommend The Boys or Breaking Bad.... might be even more of a shock for these poor guys!
HBO has censored versions in various countries. South Asian countries haven't banned it but it has been censored. All the nudity, sexual parts, some violence have been cut. I don't think the owner is making them watch a censored version though. People can't watch an uncensored bootleg
I've read the books and there's so much more to the story. I'd recommend you reading the books if it's available. Maybe in your own language.. they're huge, 800 plus pages each. Game of thrones is the name of the first book. The series is called a song of ice and fire. Ive read most of the books except the last one. There are some changes and missing a number of characters in the series. Too big to fit them in. Otherwise there would be 20 seasons and that's not a proper format for a show that only plays a season per year. The "red wedding " is completely different from the book but you have a long way to go before that episode
Yes, they specifically mentioned it. I believe the quote was “I like her.” I’m sure they’ll just love Cersei Lannister. 😄 Fair enough, though, since Lena is terrific in the role.
