We now have 6,000 subscribers! Its been a lot of fun the last few years here and I am glad to keep trying to benefit the gaming community in my own little way.
Are we not gonna talk about how the last guy has real cinema seats in his room? That is the dream. I'd love to have cinema seats, an old timey popcorn cart, and full length movie posters.
No please comment! Id be willing to bet a single comment helps way more with getting these videos out to people than youd think. Take your time and enjoy building your space. Part of the fun is it never truly ending. I switch stuff up all the time!
I like that Shane--every game room could use some Mega protection like that! I like how good those store display pieces look but even better is that storage behind them, perfect for controllers. The hanging shelf with SNES games is so good looking! I really do like the idea of using cassette cases as handheld cases. If I hadn't gotten so far into using DS cases I would've totally gone this route myself. "Wall of organized madness"--now that sounds like our place!! The painters tape route is pretty clever too. "Eclectic controlled madness"--easy man, you're going to use up all of your best descriptors before I get our room to you! Ha ha!
I've been loving your videos. My setup has always been embarrassing because I've lived in my parents place for so long and didn't have any proper dedicated storage for my games and consoles so a lot of it just sat in boxes under the stairs making it hard to retrieve. I've just moved to my own place with my fiancee this month and I'm slowly getting furniture and moving my gaming stuff in here. I can't wait to finally have a gaming setup worth sharing. Hopefully it'll make it into one of your videos in the coming months.
Only 4 years ago Every game I owned apart from the currently playing games were in my closet. That was my entire fuel for this channel when i realized I wanted to pursue finding ideas, but there were none! I work hard to find them and put them out there not just for everyone else but for me!
Excited to finish mine up to show you! Been following you for years! You're doing great! Do they make battery operated LED strips? I'm running out of USB ports and power outlets. Haha
Wow Thank you! hmmm the battery powered strips has to be a thing. you certainly have usb powered ones and could possibly plug those into a portable charger.
Hey man. Thanks for showing my game room👍 the labels on nes games are printet as well as the snes and game boy covers. The cassettes are a good and cheap way to display the games.
I think the point about cloned rooms is pretty interesting. I don't necessarily think it's a bad thing (my game Room is fairly generic itself) as long as you get what you want out of it but it definitely isn't as interesting to see in videos like this if they're all the same.
Totally agree. Because many of us have similar tastes too. Ive definitely emulated and borrowed to make my own collection , sometimes its smart to do. But yeah the odd balls are always a trip to see gotta love it.
Already!? I even Just redid a lot of my game room /studio . It was like stacks of display stands and madness from tripods. much easier to enjoy the room now.
@@DiskCart I'm building some furniture and rearranging the entire room. I'm excited to get it finished. I had to wait for the weather to normalize to build it tho.
when i make my room im not so much worried about displaying the actual games, i just want framed posters of my favorite games, multiple systems and tvs to play on, a stocked mini fridge, a cannabis grow tent with the viewing window. oh yea, mine is going to be so cool no one will have crap on my room.
After watching all your gameroom videos I asked myself something. Do you receive pictures of gamerooms with more natural lighting ? All the gamerooms look amazing but I feel like a lot of these are so dark, I wouldn't want to stay all day long in them with the artificial light and everything.
Its the greatest challenge! Natural lighting vs keeping items undamaged and just natural lighting in general since many game rooms are under ground lol. I have a couple windows in mine and am very lucky to have that during the day. but At night I expermiented for a while and ended up with one daylight style light and one ultra Yellow old school filiment type. those compined with any of my blue back lighting bade for a really nice environment.
@@DiskCart Oh yeah, I totally forgot sunlight was damaging to games, plastics and even OLED TVs. Still natural light really makes a difference and make a room more comfy during the day. I'm surprised nobody found a solution like maybe some UV protected glass display or something. I really think your window is one of the best part of your gaming room and adds a lot of life to it. For night time there's plenty of great option. I feel like lights where you can control the colors, like Phillips Hue, are the best option since you can setup amazing scenes depending on your mood.
