We need a sully game

My biggest problem with this game is that Asav did all that work to find the Tusk so he could sell it for a bomb 💣 that didn't even have a big explosion....Or maybe the bomb wasn't active and didn't go off becuz it wasn't set to detonate. Maybe it was just train itself that exploded. ...It's the only thing that makes sense.

I feel like this game would of made more sense if sully called Chloe to do a favor and help save Sam because it would’ve made more sense than having Nadine

I'm glad other people point out how unrealistic Nadine is. I mean genuinely, how tf could she beat up Nate, let alone Nate AND Sam?

Flaws aside, and the fact that this game is sort of the "Greatest Hits" of Uncharted...I really enjoyed it. The banter between Chloe and Nadine was so damn entertaining. Chloe Frazier the likeable asshole, and Nadine Ross the no-nonsense type with a soft side.

I agree about all of this because I noticed how silly these moment were lol! but I guess you forgot about something , Nadine said to Chloe that her priority is the tusk, so how come she wasn't as determined as Sam to sell it at the end of the game?

Asav didn't know Chloe the small world syndrome didn't apply to every character

Asav does not have a helicopter. Shoreline does. And they come in later just to pick up their payment for the bomb. And technically both Nathan and Elena finally learned how to monetize their findings, which is evident in the epilogue of Uncharted 4 where you can see all the memorabilia of articles and books the Elena wrote about their expiditions.

You know if you allowed a guard in the train section to talk, he says something about why they are there and multiple ways of stopping the train, and I found it so dumb that an NPC guard you kill is smarter in how to stop the train than the protagonists

Nadie being weak considering she easily beat 2 guys in U4 is one of the few things that upset me the most about this game.

My god Nadine is buff.

Many of these sins seemed to be good observations regarding logic (like Nadine's closing the temple entrance being pointless), but you and many sin videos, seem to have done a poor job paying attention to the story of the thing you are sinning - and as not enough of them were funny to write this off as "it is just comedy, don't take it as serious criticism" - but the one that is the most problematic is 86, when you sinned Chloe for reversing her previously stated position on cutting and running ... that is called a "character arc leading to character development." It is even mentioned in interviews leading up to the release of the game, that Chloe has a history of cutting and running when things get too dangerous, and it is indicated that this is because her father died by not leaving well enough alone, and this moment in the story is Chloe deciding that there are things that are more important than getting out alive. She has that terrific line about being able to "live with" dying to save others, which should have been a few sins worth of removal, as it is such a great line, indicating that if she were to choose her own survival over saving others, she would not be able to live with the person she has become, so she would rather die physically than spiritually. That was the sin that bothered me the most because it was such a beautiful piece of writing and example of a character arc coming full circle that you seemed to mistake for being inconsistent behavior, but because I have too much free time today I'll point out other sins that seem unearned. - The little girl risked her own butt to distract a guard for Chloe so that Chloe could get on the truck. Add to that, that this child easily gains Chloe's sympathy by having to survive on her own while her father -volunteers- for dangerous service, which would likely remind Chloe of her own childhood, and it isn't hard to tell why Chloe would remember the kid enough to buy her a pizza. - The small world syndrome is pretty damn likely if the reason for Chloe hiring Nadine in the first place is that Nadine had experience working with Asav, which is what is mentioned. Asav, notably does not know who Chloe is, as Asav come's from Nadine's world of military for profit, not from Chloe's world of treasure hunting. Also - with previous games wherein people in the business of treasure hunting know of each other, that tends to make sense when you are in a field of work that is incredibly unpopular. Like, you probably know of most of the people who make "sin" videos even though your average person wouldn't, because that is a job you do, but most other people don't. - You also sinned the fact that Chloe asked Nadine instead of Sully or Nate for their help. Not only was Nadine's previous work with Asav given as a reason to want her aboard (she knew where Asav's office could be found, was familiar with how his army operated, etc.), but Nadine is supposed to be a security guard, essentially, hence Chloe being upset when Nadine failed to be on lookout for Asav and his men returning to the office, when it was her job to keep them safe. Sully is old as f**k, and it is always written as if Nate is always "lucking" his way into winning fights, whereas Nadine is an actual trained fighter. This is also why Nadine is able to kick Sam and Nate's asses in Uncharted 4, yet has trouble with Asav, as Nate and Sam are not trained fighters, they are brawlers, Asav is a soldier with training on par with Nadine's. - 19, you claim that Chloe's real objective is to rescue Sam. She mentioned that she was already looking for the tusk and sent Sam on an information gathering mission when he was captured - so her main objective was in fact to get the tusk and rescuing Sam was a wrinkle in her plan, so it makes sense that she stole the disc, as getting that disc was part of her first objective to begin with. - Sin 30 about why she keeps mentioning her dad ... Maybe because the treasure she is looking for is the final treasure her father looked for, before being killed ... Like, if Spider-Man was tracking a criminal who he knew was the guy who killed Uncle Ben, he would probably reflect quite a bit on Uncle Ben while doing so .... I feel like you start writing these sins before you actually understand the stories you are sinning ... - You sin the game for claiming Chloe's accent is Australian. Claudia Black, who plays Chloe, was born and raised in Australia. That is her natural speaking voice. Maybe sin yourself for not recognizing an Australian accent? - "My stress toy." You sin the fact that Chloe has never brought out this memento until now. Again - this is a treasure hunt that directly relates to her father's death while searching for this exact treasure, why does it seem to confuse you as to why that particular event is at the forefront of her mind? This item was sent to her via mail immediately before her dad died trying to find the very tusk she is currently looking for. It makes sense that she would be fiddling with it at this time as it is her only clue into her father's mindset at the time of his death. - They don't mention the expert by his name, because Asav is supposed to be operating under the opinion that Chloe does not know his expert, and Chloe is supposed to be trying to keep Asav from knowing that she knows his expert. - Orca fired his gun first, so Sam's jumping on her, did appear to save her life. One of the few logic-based sins you seemed to get wrong - Asav is fighting the two women even after they sent his bomb in the wrong direction because he wants to kill them for sending his bomb in the wrong direction. That was a hell of a lot of work that they ruined. He wants revenge, and also, it makes sense that he would want to kill them, so they don't stop his next attempt at mass murder. It isn't like he is just gonna shrug it off and let them leave alive after they just foiled his plans. - You sin Nadine for deciding to give up on shoreline and give treasure hunting a go ... Nadine starts the game obsessed with getting her former life as a warlord back, but her experience with Chloe has made her realize that her former life only served to hold her back and it didn't allow her the fulfillment she felt working with Chloe, as an adventurer. By the end of the game, Chloe's selflessness, and being faced with the type of people she used to work with, convince her to give up her previous goal of taking her old life back, and start anew. Again, you seem unaware of what a character arc is. - Monetizing by writing a book about your adventure. True, however, there are a lot of potential legal issues with admitting to killing, stealing and blowing things up. If you sell your story as a fiction, no one will care, and if you sell it as a true story then you must admit to some potentially incriminating things and/or will still not be believed if your story sounds too far fetched. Selling the tiny treasures gathered throughout the adventure on the black market does seem like a more reliable way to make money. I personally would like if at the end of the game, you received an estimate of the financial value of everything you picked up during the adventure, as that would be pretty interesting. Either way - nice video, even though I picked it apart - but more than half the games you pick apart are very nice games too, so it only seems fair.

My only gripe here is at 3ish minutes where he says Chloe task was to save Sam but yet she priotizes the disc.....I thought Sam's job was to act as a expert for a asav, and lead him in circles while Chloe and Nadine did their work. He just became a prisoner once asav caught on too it all.....I played with my kids running round so could have misunderstood my playthrough though. Lol

Chloe's allowed to wear Indian clothes whenever she wants lol, it's not just "blending in." And hindu mythology is so... huge with so many gods and stories. I've either never heard of or forgotten the story of Ganesha fighting parashurama, honestly because this game was the first I've heard of it. I wouldn't expect every Hindu to remember every myth lol

How was Nadine supposed to know that nate killed rafe? She sealed them both in the burning ship and then left, so she assumed they both died

I actually really enjoyed this game. It's short but makes fun and has some nice little nods to the previous games Edit: 8:51, well Asav is obviously trained in combat. Nate and Sam weren't. Also Asav is way stronger than them

Half of these sins can be removed. Chloe reversing her ideals from UC2 and 3 makes sense, she runs away in both but doesn't here. It's character development. The same for Nadine being done with Shoreline.

what the hell is your problem with ledge painting? the first uncharted game was criticised for NOT doing that. players had often no idea where to go next. the series tries very hard to make the ledges stand out, but also feel natural

None of this stopped me from enjoying a FABULOUS game!

Actually we don't know when Nate and Chloe first met we only know that they knew one another long before Uncharted 2 and presumably Uncharted 1/Golden Abyss as well, soooo it's completely possible that she knew Sam before his "death".

Can we please stop counting that some characters in games would be good in Cinema Sins? That's not a sin, that's a plus, don't you think?

I would have taken off a sin on count of my favourite Chloe line from the game "Sam just... seemed to appear out of thin air." when they solve one of the three puzzles (I think it was the bow one). It's basically Naughty Dog sining Uncharted 4 themselves.

I'm surprised that you didn't put the dialogue between Sam, Nadine and Chloe while walking in the "annoying puzzle room". The whole "She tried to kill us over and over". And Chloe answer is "Well, you tried to do the same with her". When I've heard of that reply, I was just baffled by how stupid it sounds. The only instances in which Nate and Sam dealed with her, Nate always went easy with Nadine, triying to find a non-violent way to solve the conflict without violence. There where only two instances in which Nadine was in actual danger: 1° time when Nate and Sam caused an explosion 2° time when they were cornered by Rafe. Also, Nadine most of the times sent waves after wave of soldiers against Nate and Sam, so I think is more safe to say that Sam is actually more right. In fact, while Nate even SAVED Nadine from getting shot by Sam, that bitch wasn't even a slight bit thankful.

Extra sin for nadine, she should not try being a treasure hunter, she barely has any important history knowledge, even sully had more knowledge than her

I’ll admit, I enjoyed the hell out of this game and UC4 for that matter. However, I’m getting really REALLY tired of the whole “I want to find the treasure but OH NOOOOOOOWH there an evil organization looking for it as well and literally gets to every story relevant spot before us EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.”

Don't mean to sound like a salty fanboy, and usually I don't care, but literally 75% of these sins make no sense...

Asav says in the puzzle room that he thinks shedding their blood would be disrespectful to the gods, flimsy excuse, but at least he mentioned it.

9:26 being close friends with Nate, Chloe would probably not tell Nate out of respect for his retirement and not want him back in the game, Sully makes more sense tho

90% of these "sins" have perfectly valid explanations in the game if you paid a little more attention while playing.

You should add one more sin for them not even trying to decouple the train, because if you stealth through the first 2 guys, you can HEAR them being worried about you finding a way to decouple the bomb cart.

The only sin about the entire game is how Chloe's phone still works despite falling into the water many times...also am I the only one who thinks Nathan should be a history teacher? Like he can tell the students all the adventures he had.

8:52 because Nate relied on luck in a fight. and pretty much, most of his enemies just did your standard punching and kicking. Nadine was the badass martial artist, who finally showed that Nate was slow and sloppy, and finally running out of luck. he only bested Nadine during the end, because he had Sam helping them. and they still got their asses kicked during that. "lost the battle, but won the war", bro.

I thought exactly the same thing you left on the video's description. Nate, but with Claudia Black's velvety voice. Speaking of her, as a Wow player and Dragon Age player, this game was pretty much "Jaina and Morrigan go on vacation in India". Also, Claudia Black's accent is everything. She played Australians, Brits, Fantasy Brits, Alien Brits and even New Zealanders in TV shows and Video Games.

The exposition scene is a clever way to tell the story to the audience actually. It is not universal that an indian girl would always know about the history of Hinduism. India is a secular country, and it is possible that she might not know about it.

Dartigan said that all the protagonists in Uncharted are expert free climbers, but he doesn't even talk about the fact that the Devs of Uncharted told that Nathan Drake lived off of luck, and the red 'blood' appearing on the screen is actually the bad guys coming close to killing him. But Chloe and Sam also have this gift, seeing that while playing as them in UC4 and Lost Legacy.

Nadine mentioned at the start that she knows Asav well, so it makes sense that he knows her and recognises her when he finds them in his hideout. And he doesn't have the helicopter at the point of the game where they are turning the water on. Orca arrives at the helicopter later, Asav only has jeeps and trucks. Also Chloe speaks specifically about the particular gods and places, you missed the whole point of what the pronoun game is.

I don't get the sin for Chloe being Australian, especially because the voice actress is actually Australian and that's her normal voice lol

What about the fact that Naughty Dog recycled the death quotes from Uncharted 4 but changed Nate to Frazer/Chloe (depending on your progress in the game)

Chloe, Nadine and Sam: the most random squad ever. Why Sam and no Sully? Didn't they team up? The epilogue of U4 shows a picture of them together. Why Chloe but no Cutter? He deserved a comeback. Nadine... I mean she's fine but such a cliché attempt at buddy comedy
