Game Solarpro Curve Pool Heater - Honest Review  

I honestly have to say YES, with a few things to keep in mind on what it actually is. It's basically a heavy duty plastic water container, and depends on the sun's natural heat to keep the container warm. It stores about 5 gallons of water, so naturally, if water is passing through the container that has been sitting out in the sun for a long time, the water is much warmer than you getting water directly from the garden hose OR the water sitting out in the open. Secondly, I would highly recommend a solar pool cover, it makes such a huge difference having both. To give you an idea, we were only able to swim when it hits 75 degrees or higher, and even then, was only able to stay in the pool for maybe 30 mins unless it was 90s out. With the pool heater/solar pool cover, the water is warm enough to go in at 70 degrees and stays warm for an hour or so before the temperature starts to dip. Hope this helps, but remember it depends on how much sun the "water container" has been exposed to. It's NOT electric or gas, so don't expect warm water to shoot out right away.
