I will admit, something that always bothered me about when Freddy took Gregory to the first aid station was that when they got there, they never actually did anything. Vanessa shows up, then they leave. Gregory is never treated for being “broken”. So……

I’m rewatching these theories (spoiler alert for Ruin) and it’s interesting how Gregory’s stutter at the beginning of Security Breach is the same stutter we hear when Cassie encounters the Mimic pretending to be Gregory at the end of Ruin. I love how it’s spot on, but it also makes me think more into matpat saying that we don’t know if Gregory is his real name/identity

@@1FenFen1 His first words to Freddy are literally "Can you SHUT UP?!" So no, he isn't nervous - just frusturated with him and doesn't expect him to be a threat in the slightest. After that question though his tone and cadence get softer indicating insecurity or nervousness - buy why the name part and not the 'possibly talking to a killer animatronic' part?

The reason why Freddy said his vague response about Gregory being broken. He was originally meant to say that Gregory had a very bad cut. The following dialogue is: Gregory: "AH! My arm." Freddy: "I am detecting blood. You are injured." Gregory: "Don't worry about it. It's just a scratch from the vent. It's fine." Freddy: "Your arm is cut badly. I will take you to a first aid station." This is kind of a semi-censorship Steel Wool Studios did, probably to make the game kid friendly which doesn't make sense, because despite not having blood, Security Breach is still rated T for Fantasy Violence.

A little theory I had a while ago abt the whole how is crying child still around situation. Puppet gave life to all the MCI kids. She wouldn’t be the one to give life to crying child if he died first, so how would she be able to take the life away if she never had tht connection with him in the first case? Also, both william and CC were souls killed in the suits, so CC would in theory be able to put his soul in the cards similar to how William did. The same someone who figured out the chips for William would probably be able to figure out the chips with soul to make Gregbot. And yes ik abt the mimic=burntrap and glitchtrap theory but I just prefer to not agree with that until there is more evidence.

The biggest flaw with this theory is that Roxy can see and talk to bits through the walls because of her eyes. If Gregory was a bot, she would have no issue finding Gregory no matter where he went.

From what I’ve read, Roxy’s eyes turn on only during races, so that she can see all the children during the races on her track, but they are disabled other than when those races start. That’s why when Gregory does the race she sees him pretty quick, but other times she cannot.

Actually, about the “I feel you are broken.” line, the original line in the scene is Freddy saying “I am detecting blood. You are injured.” based on some lines found in the game’s files. That is because the original idea was that Gregory was supposed to hurt his arm while crawling through the first vent (again, based on some lines founded in the game’s files). Gregory was supposed to bleed. Now, ideas change in stories, but I don’t think Gregory is a robot. At least, not at the moment. I think he’s just a kid given a bad hand at life.

I'm thinking that it could be related to him never having a security pass until he gets the first one in the game. Like maybe he's only rarely able to get into certain areas due to random circumstances (i.e. sneaking behind someone into an area, a door being left open, etc.). That could pose a lot of limitations on his knowledge of the place's layout and his ability to create shortcuts in the building.

Another thing to add; what does the name 'Gregory' mean? If the name Cassidy helped tie that character to Andrew in the books, then maybe names aren't random in this series either. And what do you know, Gregory is the English version of the name Gregorios which means "to be awake". Gregory, in this theory, is the Crying Child literally "awake" from death, from what many call the eternal sleep. And what do we always see with the Crying Child? A child too scared to go to bed is depicted as always awake and stays awake until 6am.

I do not believe that Gregory is a robot, but Freddy being a new vessel for Michael would explain his instant willingness to kill Vanny dressed as a bunny on sight in the different endings. And the others being possessed by bullies would explain their behaviors, such as Roxy's severe mood swings and narcissism, Monty's violent outbursts, and Chica's overly self-indulgent tendencies. One does not simply program a robot to need to hype herself up before a show and burst into tears in the mirror when things go wrong, especially after hours when no guest will ever see it.

You can actually see when Freddy's malfunction occurs on stage in the intro that Chica shows genuine concern when Freddy collapses. You can see she steps forward and looks at Freddy as a human would do if a friend had fallen over proving in my opinion that she is indeed friends with Freddy and hence Afton.

well, there's no doubt that the glamrock animatronics were actually friends and safe for children (i believe that when they are looking for gregory, they just want to bring him to vanessa and not hurt him, until he destroys them at least), i believe Michael doesn't have total control of freddy because Freddy already has his AI as a personality, but he can still influence his actions and sometimes talk for him (like when you find the blob)

@@piki.mp4 I’m pretty sure Another reason why Freddy can’t be hacked is because he is in safe mode, which could very well be Michael mode. And I’m pretty sure his battery isn’t that small. I believe that battery is the safe mode battery, that’s why when it runs out he kills you. I believe his “second wind” is actually him loosing safe mode power and switching to his regular AI. And somewhere down the line of running trying to get Gregory he got charged somehow, not fully but enough to restart safe mode and stop him from killing Gregory. But that’s just my theory tho, don’t take it for fact.

Matpat, While I was re-watching all of your fnaf theories, I noticed something. You showed us the teaser trailer of Fetch. the main protagonist's name is Greg. And in the poster, I noticed that Greg looked oddly familiar to Gregory from Security Breach. Also in one of the endings(the bad ending where Gregory leaves the Pizza plex and Vanny catches him), the alleyway that he escapes to looks similar to the one in the Fetch poster. AND if you look in the bottom left corner, you can see a box. Possibly the box that Gregory sleeps in during the bad ending. There were some problems though. Yes, it is possible that Greg is still a robot. I have no evidence that he isn't a robot. And age is a problem. Although I'm not sure of the exact age of Greg, I've been told he's in high school. Gregory is a child, probably 9-12. That's just my theory. Thanks for reading! :))

The maze was underground, according to what we see, in SB. The fire was I the labyrinth, but the pizzeria. The pizzeria was perfectly fine, might have even been sealed off

I always felt pretty shitty about how Michael did so much to redeem himself, going through horrible pain while everyone he was trying to help was also trying to kill him, and he still kept going. So him possessing the suit of Freddy, leading a scared child through a situation to the end of his younger brother that he regrets so much, seems very fitting to me. It feels a lot nicer than him just burning in a fire after going through so much pain. I like to think he redeemed himself and had a bit of a nicer go at life for a while with Greg before he finally moved on, knowing he managed to at least save someone like his little brother when it was his fault in the beginning. Full circle, y'know.

This is a nice theory, but it doesnt seem to have much to back it up. Not being controlled by Afton can easily be explained by low power, low power means Fredbear cant send or recieve wireless signals from longer distances which explains that.

That's not to say you're wrong, Scott might not know how CRT televisions worked either, but in any even, robot Gregories eyes almost certainly do not work with an electron gun firing line by line through a filiment screen.

Here’s what I think: I agree with Micheal possessing Glamrock Freddy, but I believe he protects Gregory not because Gregory is The Crying Child, but rather he reminds him of his late younger brother, and by defending a defenseless child that reminds him of his brother, it’ll be his final redemption, preventing a child’s death from his father’s creations
