17:25 while i cant say if other games have or have not had this kind of phylosophy during their design, I think its interesting that we shift focus from the ending, like Undertale which is mainly about getting all endings, to Deltarune which seems to be like "There is only one ending but the journey you took while getting to that one ending IS what matters, really"

5:40 personally i don't find a reason to believe Kris is being control by any entity besides themself and us, they could have Open the fountain to both get the police to help(which they seems to want if to talk to Undyne) and/or improve their relationship relationship whit Toriel as it isn´t that great. Unless Kris can set the fountain opening to a timer or something they could not have opened the previous fountain while Noelle and berdly were on the room, not to mention that the closet hints at a tall man being the one to Open it. 17:40 i know everyone says or used to say that "Your choises dosn´t matter" is the main theme of the game, but honestly to me that was always like the "It´s kill or be killed" from Undertale, it is the first idea we are introduce to by a posible antagonist and that we will work against over the course of the game, to me, even if at the grand scale the ending is the same, just the fact that there is misseable things, even if simple dumb dialog that you can find out by choosing to go back the way you came is already eniugh to make that small choice matter.
