I forget how smart he was! He immediately found the bananas, and then seemingly went towards you with the yams so you could help! He is adorable, and I’m glad he’s staying occupied!

This was an absolute delight to watch! Seeing what interested Kemosabe and imagining his future activities stemming from the favorite objects is a great opportunity for silly daydreams with my daughter. Thanks for giving him a full life. We watched it on Thanksgiving and it had us in the right spirit!
Earlier this year I watched the video of Kemosabe in his tree fort, and I was obsessed with the little noises he makes! A couple weeks later, in early March, I adopted a hedgehog and decided to name him after your tree porcupine. Now we have our own little Kemosabe.

Earrings out of the quills is a very adorable and creative idea!! But I just associate porcupine quills with upset dogs who thought it was a good idea to bother one. LOL.
I love all your animals but he is still my most favorite!! I am putting those earrings on my Christmas list... it is now 1 of 2 items which will make up my Christmas list. I won't complain if I receive more than one pair of his quill earrings. :D I can think of a few friends that would love a pair as well as they love unique things. Kizmit doesn't do the grumble and mumble like new world porcupines do. She's pretty straight forward whey her communications, quiet when she's happy and huffy/rattle/stomp when she's upset.
@@animalwondersmontana Could you have meant New World porcupines rather than "new wheels" porcupines? I think your computer got away from you when you were writing. Kemosabe is a darling.
He does have a smell. People on scishow talk show with him have mentioned it. I think he is in a video with Tessa Violet where she smells him definitely worth a watch.
idk if it's ever been mentioned on this channel, but on other videos with prehensile-tailed porcupines they've mentioned that the yellow color is due to the wax they produce to keep their quills healthy and smooth
On Scishow, they said that porcupines have a human body odor like smell. If you smell bad BO in the woods, it might not be you or your friends but a porcupine.
