I don't know how hard is to find nowdays a GB Player, but I definetly get both the player and the GC Loader, that way I could use a little bit more my Purple Game Cube that died on me (not the console itself, but the mini DVD drive did), but at the same time I could try to get a compatible component cables as it was one of the launch GCN models)
I don’t believe they work on the SD card, but you can always look up something like EZ Flash Omega. That will allow you to use the GB Player with a physical flash card.
@@niccolosaurus5530 EZ-Flash or an Everdrive GBA would work perfectly well with the GBI interface of Swiss. That is optimal. But you also have the option of using EmGBA (Enhanced mGBA) as a GBA emulator inside of Swiss. You miss out on the option of connecting your physical GBA to your GameCube with cable if you go the emulation route. You also obviously can't bring the GBA-game with you if you decide to use EmGBA. I would choose to use Everdrive + GB-Player for that reason. You just need to pair it with a screen-modded GBA and you are golden :). Play your favourite GBA game on a 65¨ OLED screen with an original SNES controller paired with a raphnet adapter. Use a RetroTink 5x with OEM component cable (for good signal to upscale) input to scale and convert the the signal to HDMI. RetroTink 5x is a world class upscaler but it does not have HDMI input so for the best picture possible from GC you need to use the component cables. There you have it.. the best possible GC set-up. Well you could also connect 4 GC with the broadband adapter and play MarioKart the ultimate way.. but that's a little overkill since you will need at least 2-4 screens.
