Well, as long as you put the shiny Torchic to sleep, it won't be able to use it for a while. I recommend using a pokemon with the move Hypnosis. (I use a Yanmega for it)
Fun fact it’s also the same thing when you want to shiny hunt cyndiquil cuz it only spawns in one cave in the entire game and it’s the only fire type that spawns in that cave
There is a more effect method then going in and out of the cave! You can actually picnic inside of the cave. If you stick to the right side of the cave you can actually do the reset inside if you then nuzzle against the right hand wall. I caught 4 of them doing this.
i also wanna point out, if youre like me and struggle a LOT with colors, there will be EXACTLY 16 torchics after the spawns seem to stop if there is a shiny, very good way to check if you have the small lil guy
@@freconsbo Yes. However, the problem I ran into is that the spots it spawns are the same spots several other fire types spawn. Magby, magmar, litleo, and pyroar. I'd love it if there was a secret spot where fennekin was the ONLY fire type to spawn
How in the Distortion World you got so many Torchics to appear?! I've been in the same cave, getting in and out, and didn't got even half of the ones you got there! I got two shiny Chimchars I didn't asked for trying to get a shiny Torchic to appear!
I don't know what it is about trying to hunt this shiny Torchic, but it's just not appearing for me. I use this cave, and I've literally found a shiny Scorbunny and a shiny Chimchar while doing hunts, but no Torchi.
Sometimes luck just isn't there bro. Truss tho, don't give up, keep trying it'll eventually appear. I've done 3-4 sandwiches before and still not got a shiny for some hunts in the past 😅😭

Well yeah but Torchic has a trash shiny and so does Combusken and also Blaziken so I wouldn't waste my time on a dumb shiny like Torchic. Instead I would try to shiny hunt Scorbunny because the gray on CInderace looks very cool
