You could look at the Game Clock behavior. It doesn't look like it's designed to tell you what time of day it happens to be in game, since it wouldn't have any reference to the other script. But I suppose if you sync'd them up it could work. Let us know here how it goes!
I am using the experimental build which sometimes includes scripts that have not yet made their way to the retail build, although I would have expected this one to be there by now. If you're not familiar with experimental build be sure to watch my video on the topic to understand the pros and cons.
It's been a while since I've looked at Day/Night and I believe it's received a few updates (many have) but I'm not super familiar with them yet. I'll need to revisit some of these eventually. In the meantime I suppose it'd depend on what you want to do. There are going to be limits to some of these scripts since they're designed to be somewhat generic. There's nothing stopping you from expanding on them to suit your needs.
I just ran into some weird issue while editing the custom terrain I was rising the ground then suddenly I rotate the camera to see how far away is the editable area's border from where I was raising the ground but the map started duplicating into a spiral of mirror images how to I fix that I tried closing and reopening GGM but the issue is still there
That kinda sounds cool. No idea without seeing it but you're welcome to DM me on the community discord. Can't promise I can fix it but would be happy to take a look.
Hello friends I have a question how to change scenes in the game and go from one mission to another and the end, did you make a video by the way because I didn't seeinsert the video and mute the music, I plan to buy the program soon Otherwise, support from me, great video
@@FGmen Yes with the right expectations. It's still under development and probably will be for a while. But if you start learning into it now, by the time it's fully developed you'll be an expert rather than starting raw and having to learn everything at once later on.
I instantly ran into an issue with the Day Night behavior. There is no way of choosing where the sun sets or rises. Its locked to an arbitrary position.
I would prefer we be able to determine what the cardinal directions are. If you are planning to have day/night cycle in your level, best to determine which direction is E/W based on the direction of the sun before laying everything out.
@@bloodmooninteractive absolutely. Or maybe after we lay everything out? That way it could be adjusted yeah? I put a request on GitHub for this feature.
