Can you give me advice on my next handheld? I’ll start with I have a Nintendo Switch oled a steam deck and the xxxH and xxxsp . So what I want is something larger and can take on the go like the xxx series I have. Any thing you can recommend? And thank you I’ve been watching your videos lately.

Hello, it will depend a bit on whether you have a preference for games and emulators, for example, devices that have the UNISOC Tiger T820 as their SOC, like the ANBERNIC RG CUBE and ANBERNIC RG556 are capable of running the vast majority of ps2 games and some nintendo switch stuff. As you already have a great device (Steam Deck OLED) capable of running some ps3 games quite well, what would your goal be for a new console? Thanks for following me

@@Play_Screen Big lol I should’ve mentioned Iam very illiterate in that world I don’t know how to emulate at all . So I usually get loaded sd cards like I did for all I have except the Nintendo Switch because I have the membership that gives me some old school games from other consoles. I want something that I can just maybe download and play games or like buy on steam deck type console and maybe with android. I had the rog ally but I took it back because it’s just not able to work without WiFi also. And I know I can buy games that I probably could play on the switch but I already have so many games on it. So that’s my situation thanks for the response.

So basically, the devices have Windows, Android or Linux as operating systems and the emulators capable of running the games (ROMS) have been installed inside them. As all this is done on an SD card and considering that you already have an SD reader in a computer, for example, once you connect it, a folder structure will appear and the job, in fact, is to know the path where the games are read and what extension it is. So: Where to find games for Windows? There are many platforms on which you can get free games for Windows, as well as pay for them. Here are some of the most popular platforms. Steam - store.steampowered.com/ - The most popular source for finding free and paid games. Epic Games - www.epicgames.com/ - They have weekly FREE games that are usually paid for. Good Old Games (GOG) - www.gog.com/ - DRM-free games Xbox Game Pass - www.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-game-pass - Monthly subscription to many commercial games that you can play at no extra cost. You can also stream games via the cloud to your laptop. Humble Bundle - www.humblebundle.com/ -Bundles of games are usually sold much cheaper than normal, and part of the money goes to charity Where to find game ROMs? As well as finding them easily on google, we have: PDROMS - pdroms.de/ - The largest source of homebrew games for many consoles and computers. It's no longer updated, but you can still find lots of homebrew games there. Retro Veteran - www.retroveteran.com/ - Another very useful site with links to many homebrew games for many consoles. Antstream - www.antstream.com/ - Cloud-based streaming of retro games. The software is available for Windows and Android, among others. There is a free version, as well as a monthly subscription option for more features. How do I install ROMs on my Windows device? RetroArch (www.retroarch.com/) is a quick way to easily configure various emulators and scan their ROM files. There's a guide here -> droix.net/knowledge-base/article/retroarch/ what if the device has linux or android ? Most Linux-based laptops will have a micro SD card with folders already created for the games consoles it supports. Some laptops have OS + storage combined, and others may have a second card dedicated to storage. If you have a blank micro SD card, we'll also show you how to fill it with the correct folders for your games. There will be a list of folders with familiar names based on consoles and computers. You can then copy the ROM files you downloaded into their respective folders. For example, a Dreamcast game would go into the "dreamcast" folder, and a Game Gear game would go into the "gamegear" folder. (normally) If the device has Android and you have a micro SD card slot, you can simply copy the game files from your PC to the micro SD card. But first, you need to prepare the card correctly. In fact, you need to have a certain amount of knowledge to proceed with the inclusion of games, but nothing too complex, as it works like a pen drive, where you need to know the extensions it accepts (from ROMs) and which folder it's in and basically copy and paste, but it's good to take a look at reddit or google itself "how to add games to XYZ device". As for which device to get, as I said before, it depends on which consoles you like best, for example, PSP? PS2? N64..
