its cause the facial animation was a base game mechanic, so they put massive amounts of work into it. Most game devs simply dont have the time or man power to implement such good facial animation when "just okay" animation is acceptable.
I'm not ashamed to admit that when these videos originally came out, they ruined LA Noire for me. Any time a scene that was used in these appeared, I was thinking of this and struggled to focus on the actual scene. Never change mans1ay3r, you beautiful bastard.

it’s more like “BUT THE CREEP THERE WAS ALWAYS HIS EYES OVER my brother” I love it how when the splices happen, the inflection that each word has is completely different depending on the context of what it was spliced from, it’s absolutely hilarious and I can’t get enough of this video, like when Cole says “I’m afraid we HAVE” after Taraldsen says no to him asking if they can cum in his wife 😂
