Pads make me feel like I'm wearing a nappy i have them for emergencies but he's probably just been around women who are the same mainly kids use pads, atleast where I'm from that's typically the case because a tampon is invasive for kids but tampons control the blood instead of letting it out i feel unclean when i use a pad but everyone is different

Aww I loved Jack and Ryan's reaction. It was so wholesome and mature😊. They both would be great dad's. Everyone else was being so immature and laughing and gagging and acting like it was gross when it's not. Its a natural thing, it just upsets me about how some people think it's gross and act immature when people bring it up. Like jack already said," you can talk about periods it's not that scary". The reason why Clems (she’s like 16 or 17 here and most girls get it at 12-14) period is so late is because of the apocalyptic lifestyle. How you take care of yourself affects your period a lot and sense she probably doesn’t get much nutrition and a lot of stress her period probably rarely comes.

Now I use them pretty regularly, sometimes I switch it out with pads, especially overnight because you're not supposed to leave them in over eight hours. Sometimes I use both. Well honestly that's not a very good comparison. Men don't have the issue of periods, so it usually comes off as an awkward or uncomfy subject, and they don't know what periods are like. Everybody talking about Jack's reaction but I think Ryan's reaction was the most wholesome. He didn't even flinch, he just went ooh right! That's normal, you're growing up :) He was so chill about it and didn't look uncomfortable at all, I really appreciate that attitude. Jack's reaction was fine, but he still looked kinda nervous I'd say. Which is understandable, of course, and him saying that periods are not something we can't talk about out loud is definitely mature! But Ryan's relaxed smile and posture made me feel like there's really nothing to be ashamed of. I think that's important too. Being in Clem's place, Ryan would probably be the only one of these guys that I'd feel comfortable to talk to about this subject.
