True, I remember EA also got punched in the face by an angry god as well, hmm what was it oh yea God Of War, lmao EA taking Ls lol, I don’t think they know what the hell their talking about at this point.
Sony pulled the best out of developers, Santa Monica revamped GOW, Guerrilla tried a new genre and created Horizon. Now sucker punch went from infamous to THIS!! Bruh Sony on top!!
@@MariusBoss11458 in a little over a year there won't be anything left to play on it. All the big exclusives coming out in the near future aren't probably going to be on ps4. Same goes for all the big 3rd party games. I'd say we're good for at least an year or two.
@Marius Valentin I take back what I said a Year ago. After 2023. It'll be PS5 only mostly. Still hoping for a PS5 Slim. (I know you're Romanian. Best if we talk in English)
You and me both 😭 having played the game already i havn't appreciated the intro as much as i was just being too busy being immersed into the gameplay n just taking in the graphics. To be able to watch everyone's reaction on the intro i was able to really take in all the details like how the music builds up just as you ride out from the forest onto the fields and the birds just flying out right on cue as you ride on the grass and that hand caressing the grass just as youre galloping on it really set the bar for me how you make such an introduction to a game. That music though ❤. Id be suprised if nobody tried to do a cover of that intro music. That music is pure Ghost Of Tsushima 🙂
That moment when you reach the field of grass and the music swells....Spielberg wishes he could generate half, a third, one 10th of the feels that moment gave me in a film. Suckerpunch have outdone themselves, they made me actually feel something riding into that field, I think they're called emotions.
Mannn i love this game but spielgerg is a cinematic legend. Hella disrespect. He has made saving private ryan and munich which are some of the best films to date tbh
@@aurorab4553 No offence to Mr Spielberg, I meant no disrespect. I was commenting more on the medium of film that people witness in a passive sense versus a video game and their fundamentally interactive nature. I can't feel the same feels in a movie like the feels I felt riding through that field of grass because of the limitations of the medium of film. You cannot escape into a film or a book for that matter in the way you can in a game like Ghost of Tsushima and that doesn't take anything away from Spielberg and his artistry as a film maker.
you know, when you're 30, you start to get bored, not many games can impress you anymore. I was one, until i hit this intro. It's like you're brought back to your childhood when you find the freshness, the excitement that's long gone. That's what i appreciate about this intro and this game. A True Masterpiece.
Damn. Im 34 this year. Last time i feel this excited when i played RDR2 for the first time. And now I felt it again with this game last night. I was 3 years late but better late than never.
I totally agree. This game should be Game of the Year! It’s beautiful, amazing, and a game that is very realistic. It’s the most beautiful game I’ve ever played.
I was actually crying on this scene. It was just so beautiful. I know it was just a beginning but I had a lot going on in my life rn and this game is just touching my soul.
I think some people don’t get the context tsushima gives you a plate of awesome for nearly 2 hours and then you realize it is just the intro.👍🏼 i love this game.
Your FBI Agent you could call it sightseeing but I know I got nearly 2hours. I kept trying to break away from mission. The warning tick would upset me but I forgive it.
Or...... HUGE SPOILERS FOR THE ENDING!!! That moment you have to fight Lord Shimura as the final boss. The music.. The setting, lighting, the emotion, the fact you have to duel your own uncle to the death right in front of your fathers grave.. Absolute chills.
fernando tovar I’ve played it and I never felt like "shoving an agenda” was the main focus , sexual preference shouldn’t be consider as politics 🤷♂️ that’s just me tho
This sequence is simply perfection. I rarely get emotional playing a game. I honestly caught myself welling up a bit as I was closing in on the flower fields the music began to build up, then the title sequence. I caught myself in the moment and thought "sh$# they got me" lol
It's just crazy how many talented studios Sony has, and how they've consistently released good to amazing games this generation (and yes, I count TLOU2, since it's only the story that divided fans... when it comes to graphics, gameplay and soundtrack, that game is top-tier, and that's not even debatable). It's pretty much the reason why I will always own a PlayStation console.
That doesn't really make sense though because story can weigh much more heavily on how someone judges a game. You wouldn't of given a Telltale game a good rating if you had found the story or characters to be lacking, and I'm not exactly sure who you've heard ever describe The Last of Us gameplay as "top-tier". There's a general consensus in the series that the gameplay is adequate for what it's attempting to do (I.e. functioning as a catalyst to help drive the story and engage the player), but not really doing anything profoundly unique or unexpected.
tlou2 is defenitely next gen, especially to what it can do with a 2013 hardware. But GOT IS FUCKING GOTY. Cyberpunk2077 could delay their release, i just want this game to win goty 2020
Dante Mcmillan Bro this games is just the true Goty of this year. Beatiful gameplay,Beautiful Soundtrack, graphics. This games is just beautiful. There are some things that i dont like that are like the physics of the character but hey this game is awesome in other things
I loved the genuine smiles on their faces, reminds me of the same people frowning through TLOU2. this is what gamers like and passion for. not a plate of shit shoved in your face and force you to eat it all up.
We should at least appreciate that tlou 2 intro was way better than this. Seeing dina and ellie smoke weed and have sex while joel got bludgeoned to death was the best thing Neil could think of
Just finished the game for the 3rd time. 2x on PS4 & once with the directors cut on PS5 (which I would highly recommend). I have never played a better game in my life. A total masterpiece.
Haha when I got to this part I just started crying as I rode through the flowers. That was one of those moments that I will never experience for the first time again.
So, how is everyone’s experience with the game? I still haven’t finished it, having too much fun doing side quests, shrines, armors/weapons and Finishing moves😁
Fear me Not I just got platinum, the ending is amazing and emotional, try to clear out all the POIs in each act before going onto the next , that’s how I did it, and you’ll be able to get experience the game fully and the story line more accurately , I did everything except a few side quests when I finished the main story , but I hope you enjoy the rest of the game !
There are only 2 games that I vividly remember the title reveal: DOOM, punching the panel after hearing Samuel try to justify releasing Hell on Mars and the Heavy Metal that kicks really put me in the demon-slaying mood. Ghost of Tsushima, I've seen this now a dozen times and it still gives me goosebumps. The music build up and "drop" when you hit the open field... perfection.
I've just platinumed this game. I feel sad I can't experience this for the first time again! The music of this game is one of the best I've seen. What a way to end an era... Take a bow, Sucker Punch.
you know what made this sequence so goosebumping and so good is that you start the game in a gritter , dark situation where you think will really have a hard time fighting back the mongols and alas you run across the valley with the song and the widening of the screen. It all worked out so well,
The developers did such a phenomenal job painting such a grim picture in the beginning of the game. The samurai are all dead. Tsushima's leader has been captured. Jin failed to rescue his uncle, and it's just him and a thief against an entire Mongol army. When they ride off, you don't know how it's gonna be possible fighting back, where to start, and if they even have a chance. But the second Jin rides across the fields, the birds fly away, you see the lakes and forests, and Jin brushes his hand against the fields, the player feels what Jin feels. This is his home. It's beautiful, and no matter what, you're defending this place to the very end.
I'm like a big Final Fantasy VII fanboi and I LOVED Final Fantasy VII Remake, but holy shit Ghost of Tsushima is something else, probably Game of the Year.
Awesome compliation. Next do a: HUGE SPOILERS FOR THE ENDING!!! That moment you have to fight Lord Shimura as the final boss. The music.. The setting, lighting, the emotion, the fact you have to duel your own uncle to the death right in front of your fathers grave.. Absolute chills.
@DemonC TM relax man, tlou 2 is terrific work of art ,man, Means you can JUMP and GO PRONE and stab, slaughter, Molotov, jack hammer dogs and and again jump and go prone and.............. Ellie and dina sex and weed smoking while joel is bludgeoned to death and and ......... Neil druckmann: just buy the game already. Its the best game ever created in the history of gaming
What felt so great about this game, is for once, it felt that a game was made for one single reason and that's delivering a good story with a good experience. No agenda, no politics, no "acceptance and diversity" bullshit, no crazy deviations from real history to appease to a certain narrative. Simple, pure and awesone all at the same time. Also, full of things to do even with simple duels on the road which might feel mundane after a while to people, but still, you feel that with every fight, you're on the edge and when you get to the point where you feel like you don't want to die because you feel that it truly beats how the game is supposed to be played, that's when you know that the developers did something incredible. Instilling that feeling inside, makes you feel tense, anxious and want to give it your all. Now that's how a game is supposed to be. With everything else, that game reminds me of how excited I was about The Witcher 3, something I haven't felt with heavy weights like Red Dead Redemption II and God of War.
I say WE, the gamers of the world start an independent GAMERS AWARDS. Funded by the people for the people. Voting polls specifically for gamers choice. I seriously don't understand why we give these fookers the right to say what we want. After all ........it's our money. Just a thought plz comment on what you think, suggest etc.
As soon as i saw the opening of this game and the late title card i KNEW there would be reaction compilations on RU-vid, its just so badass. Sony's exclusives man...
You know there are these moments when you are thankful that you picked up a controller all those years back you dont even remember where it happened maybe at a friends house maybe at a mall and you thank your younger self for picking it up and getting you into this beautiful experience called gaming! This was like that moment where i thanked kid me! I have been promoting this game to absolutely everyone i know, like i worked on it myself and rarely games do that to me! Thank you sucker punch for connecting me to that kid again! I am purposely playing this game as slow as possible cos i dont want to finish it!
Neil druckman: hi everyone please buy are game it got ten out of tens. Everyone: I sorry what was that, we to busy riding a horse through a flower field as a samurai.
Neil druckmann: I said you have to buy it. Dont you try to ABUSE me with that COMPARISON. Uhh did I hear "ABUSE". CALL THE POLICE, CALL 911 THERE IS A GUY WHOSE SENDING ME DEATH THREATS. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF CHRIST I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THAT ABUSE AND THREATS. HELP ME PLEASE. SAVE ME!!!!!?
@@FarhanKhan-vz2xu its crazy how much yall overreact did yall ever watch a real interview of this guy? Hes not at all like the quartering and all those guys make him out to be they just do it for views
Things like this is how you can tell love was put into every piece of the game. It’s a special feeling to see just how beautiful the world is while then you think oh it’s a cutscene but nope they give you the keys and you’re off.
So much respect to Sucker Punch. Well done! You have made a masterpiece. Too many amazing things about this game to write in one comment... I STILL enjoy the hell out of this game. Lovin the new Hard + mode. I get my ass kicked, but it's GREAT.
I was pissed when it didn't win. I played both and I'm sorry but I enjoyed GoTsushima far more than I enjoyed TLoU2. After Abby killed Joel, they made you play as her?! So that you could have sympathy for her?! Because Joel killed her father to protect Ellie from dying? I'm sorry but if they couldn't find a way to keep her alive AND find a cure then they're up shit creek without a paddle. I sided with Joel. I would have done the same thing. To sympathize with devils is for the weak! I'm glad I Redbox that bs because I could of had a V8.
I think it's one of the most top game intro's I've ever encountered hence people do put their time in it and complete it. Connection is made just like that.
@@Blue-rr7kp it suffers a lot of the "open world game" problems with content feeling like filler, the trailing missions where you have to follow someone(some where good as some made you platform), first act feeling slow. Yet somehow still manages to be one of the best games in Sony's line up with God of War, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank and Gravity Rush
