I have the G8 and there are two things a I wish they add/change: 1.- a ventilation option, games nowadays makes our phones go really toasty. 2.- A different d-pad, I love GameSir products in general, but their d-pads are horrible for a lot of games, specially fighting games.
When I play something fast like MvC, thumb keeps accidently bumping in to screenshot button. Why the hello did they have to include that, why is it so close to the D-Pad, and why the hell is there not an option to disabled it?
I totally agree, it is a device already with a very specific use. I bought it exclusively to use on my phone and play emulators. The "multi-platform controller" is not that interesting to me, i already have controller for PC or other things. Not to mention that the practicality of just plugging it in and playing is great. No latency at all aswell. And I saw in a post, with the adapter cable it works on the PC too.
hi I'm aware this controller has a gyroscope built in, do you know if this is mappable to the touchscreen or is it limited to the PS and Switch modes? maybe it simulates the right stick?
It does the controller actually separates. I just got done watching a video that was just uploaded a hour ago on the g8+ and the guy was using it on a s9 ultra tablet.
I would like to see you do a review on the Bluetooth version of the GameSir X2s. It's a pretty awesome upgrade to the already amazing X2s (Type-C port version).
Between G8 for an android and G8+ which is better? G8 is kinda immortal as it can stand the test of time since it got no battery. Which has better inapp support?
Since it has a DS4 mode, could it possibly connect with a ps4? since some controllers with a DS4 mode (such as the D3 telescopic controller) is compatible with a ps4
There's not enough of a narrow handle at the bottom of each grip to hold on with your ring and pinky fingers. The right stick is too close to the right thumb. If the handles of the controller and placement of the right stick were similar to the 8bitdo Ultimate or Switch Pro controller, this would be a lot more comfortable. Unfortunately, it's a heavy, expensive discomfort and let-down. If I could return it for a refund, I would.
Yea they're god damn idiot adding stupid capture button right underneath the D-Pad, playing Marvel Vs Capcom drive me insane because I keep D-Punching into that God damn button.
How did you get ps remote play to work with it? I can connect my android phone but when I load the ps remote app it says controller incompatible? In contrast, it works fine on the ps play app
@@ChigzTech I did try this and all the other modes, but same result - says the app doesn't work with this controller. What's throwing me is that it works with PS play app. Is there a workaround? Is anyone else having same issue?
@nikenbole I'm just wondering as you need to use Bluetooth to pair the controller to your phone. If that's the case can I also pair my earbuds? Usually you can't do 2 Bluetooth devices at once but I hope I'm wrong
