Gaming chairs are actually terrible for your back. If most people tried both ergonomic chairs then gaming chairs, they'd find the task chairs/ergonomic chairs preferable.

im an occupational therapist, and i can tell you, most of those gaming chairs are really bad for you, unless you are a female, or really scrawny guy. If i was to choose wether to get the ergo chair for the 800-1000$ in 2/3 months or the gaming chair now, id save up the months.

Gaming chairs are awful. I bought a Titan for 400 dollars and my neck and back were killing me after only a couple hours of use. You're better off with a normal 100 dollar office chair.

the problem i have with most chairs is the width of the seat i have a big frame and now that im disabled i have a big frame that has put on some weight add to that guy so i like to have some spread on my legs it makes the standard 49cm feel like im wearing a straitjacket for my legs and sadly most ""gaming"" chairs use the 49cm seat (i haven't looked at ewin)

Bought a nice second hand ergonomic office chair a while back. I also got an height adjustable desk (also second hand) for my graduation before that. Being 190 cm tall (6,3 ft) this is awesome. So many chairs lack comfortable support for your upper back and many desks are too low for me, this setup solved all those issues. I can also game standing since my desk goes up quite high enough. What you can take away from this is that are almost always office equipment for sale somewhere, since companies move and restructure, that is when you come in and bargain a fair price. I probably saved 1000 dollars buying these two second hand, and they were in really good shape :)

Good, honest, video. I don't think a 400 dollar gaming chair can compete with a thousand dollar office chair for comfort while gaming. I bought a pretty nice office chair (with padded arm rests. I NEED those!!) for around 300 bucks, and it's held up pretty well, so far, for 3 years. I found it MUCH more comfortable than any of the gaming chairs I sat in. NONE of the gaming chairs had padded arm rests, and that's something I really needed. Can anyone help me with a question? My friend, who games with me sometimes on line, plays while he sits on a couch. He says it's a little uncomfortable, and I agree (I've played at his house). He doesn't really have room to fit a gaming type chair where he plays, so what I'm wondering is, is there a kind of "over the couch" type of chair, that you could sit on, while you game, that maybe is more comfortable and even has arm rests? I'm wondering if there's something made to sit ON TOP OF a squishy couch or thickly padded chair, for gamers. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'll keep researching !

I have a ~$200 office chair. Works well. But that could be before I was using a wooden chair. Too bad my desk has a drawer so it blocks the arms of the chair, so I had to add pillows to keep me from slouching.

I tried the noble chair, Dx Race, Akracing chair but I think Anda seat gaming more comfortable than any other chairs.

Used kitchen chair for years and it made some kinda nerve damage on my tailbone. Have AKRacing gaming chair now, frame is solid metal so it won't break even if you are bigger person but comfort is so so.

As cool as it looks and cool factor might be important, I've tried Aeron but I prefer Steelcase Leap as far as long duration sit chairs. They are a tad more expensive than the gamer chair but much less than the humanscale chair you normal use in your videos.

I have alot of backproblems cause of a work accident. And i have to say, since i have a gaming chair, i sit alot better at the desk. Before i had a normal desk chair. So i vote for the gaming chair.

Just a humble opinion from has wanted to buy one of there chairs for years but can't justify paying that much. Armrest appear weak on Ewin and need more area for the to rest on.
