I agree, while I was looking for gaming headphones i seriously considered a pair of ATH m20x's along with a mod mic, sadly mod mics cost like 100$ in my country plus my gaming laptop only has a single combined port for audio in and out, thus I ended up going for the Legion H300's upon your reccomendation. Love your videos!

The build quality of the m20xs based on my experience is no where near as good as the meze 99 neos. I managed to break the handband of the m20x by accident 😂 though both of them are very efficient, they don't really require an amp.

Despite what people say about gaming headsets, sometimes it's just the more affordable option. In Australia the shp9500 is over 100 $ same goes for the vmoda book pro. But headsets like the arctis 5 cost only abt 160

May I suggest you also try other headphones for gaming, Superlux HD668B, Sennheiser HD58X, HD598, Samson SR850/950, Koss KSC75, Porta pros, kph30i, creative aurvana live, AKG 612, 702, 712, Audio technica AD700x, 500x, 900x. Some of those are budget "audiophile" headphones that can be used both for music and gaming that would not break your bank.

I use the Sennheiser HD58X Jubilees, currently my fav since I can use it anywhere despite I had to deal with the open back design, it doesn't need a dac or amp although it requires 150 Ohms. They sound just stinking awesome!

I *HIGHLY* recommend you procure a pair of Beyerdynamic TYGR 300 headphones and review those next, particularly from a gaming perspective. I own Beyer DT1990 & DT1770 & T5p, AKG K712, Audiotechnica ATH-AD900X and I still choose the TYGR over any of them for gaming in particular, but they also have real value as just a music headphone. The TYGR have the perfectly sized soundstage for most games I can't really explain it, but going from them to most of my other cans just feels slightly off, vice versa that's not the case. Those are the ones that I now recommend every gaming friend that is looking for a competitive (-> Imaging) pair, because it's just *so* good at what it does and isn't the most expensive compared to the rest of the audio world haha

Hi u helped me choose the arctis 7s which I am over the moon with but my friend has just purchased the arctis pro wired with dac using on a PS4 and is having a problem I can hear a dull humb off his chat while he is speaking but if he covers the 3.5 jack ports it’s gets quieter any thoughts pls 👍

For under $30 I think Nubwo headsets are worth checking out. I had $20 Nubwo N2s for over 3 years before handing them down (they still work perfectly), and I've heard good things about the Nubwo N7 headset ($23 on Amazon rn.)

Hey! please I need your help. So I want a comfortable closed back on ear headphone to use with a digital piano as well as a stylish general audiofile enjoyable experience that I can walk around with.. I don't mix/produce music I just want a natural, enjoyable experience. I don't like the beyerdynamic 770s they're too studio looking. The akg k361/k371 seem like a good choice but I don't trust their reliability.. I will be trying out the sivga 006 soon to know if they might fit. Other headphones I'm considering are the Meze 99, Focal listen pro, Shure Anoic 50 and mackie MC-350. Please feel free to recommend any other pair.. My budget goes to $250 what pair would you recommend I get? Is there a do it all pair I can get? Should I just get one pair for playing piano/Rhodes and another for enjoyment..? 🙏

I realize the best headphones that fit what I'm looking for are; Sennheiser 560s, AKG k702 (..which I still Don't know much about) akg k371 (which I don't trust the reliability) and Meze 99 Nior which i don't know if they will be too boomy or not, even with Brainwavz bads..

@Fisher Man yes, exactly. I'm looking into it. I wish I could find a closed back that sounds as good as some high quality open backs on the market today. My other option I thought of is meybe to get some Sony natural closed back headphone for much cheaper. And then get another pair of headphones/IEM for everyday enjoying use.

@@TheTechne they have a really odd audio system so i was trying to see what are some solid headphones that can help pin point enemies clearly because i use a audio amp with the phillips but with those sometimes enemies sound in front vs behind u but oddly my ear buds are doing a better job for this game
