In eldin ring, if you use 2 bandit curved swords with strength and use buffs it’s insane. It doesn’t stagger enemies and does insane damage. Those weapons can be used for bleed or strength

Shadowplay changed awhile ago, it only works capturing the game when its in full screen only. Anything thats not fullscreen you have to use manual screen recording with nvidia, and the privacy setting to allow desktop capture has to be checked on.

The recording thing could be the full-screen/windowed on Elden ring. Nvidia capture did the same thing to me recently after a update.

Incantation builds are fun in Elden Ring. Unsure if you've done one, but you should if you haven't.

NVIDIA advice: Use the 552.12 driver. I was having issues too but rolling back to that driver fixed the problem. Hope it works for you too!

The greatsword in elden ring is is by far the best non-somber melee weapon in the game. You have insane posture damage and variety with its weapon arts and whetstones you can apply, on top of its good damage. Its really on rivaled by bloodhounds fang, which is basically its dex equivalent. I mean it still doesnt make the game easy, you still need to be skilled at dodging, but it allows you to first try bosses with ease even if your half decent at souls likes (if you're not under leveled or under prepared for a boss)

For your Shadowplay issue: Did you happen to get an HDR monitor recently? Or enable it in Windows? Shadowplay is extremely buggy when recording an HDR screen, especially if there’s a 2nd one plugged in that isn’t set to HDR

merk talked about the recording bug a couple videos ago. he said he talked to support and they said that it’s a bug caused by having multiple monitors setup, and the only fix is using one monitor/have only one plugged in.
