@Kittylicky a fraction is the representation of a number with division, it doesn't matter what numbers you put on on the top or the bottom as long as it's in that format (except you can't put 0 on the bottom or it's undefined)
@@jimpapadopoulos6299 100/10 is just an improper fraction to me it doesn’t make much sense in this case, but who cares lol this is a pointless internet argument
@@sdbyrimHe has not tried many games, even my phone can run Fortnite with good quality. Any modern laptop can run Fortnite, even if it is a Integrated card Amd or intel One game is not a standard
Got away with my 1200$ tuf f15 After 3 years i have no regrets(i mean i have 1 regret:i didn't know that the fan speed was ajustable and the guy i gave the laptop to install windows put the fans on silent. For 1 and a half years i've used the laptop at verry high temps wich destroyed my battery. Ended up getting it out of the laptop bc it was useless and it was a bit more weight )
@@j4y625 Yeah, so there was a discount on HP’s website at the time and they had a promo code for 10% off on top of that discount. The MSRP was $2,029.99, the discount was -$581 and then the promo code took 10% off so it was just above $1,300 before tax.
Shit bro, you removed RTX Nvidia stickers, that is real respect for what you do, they are not part of your business so they don’t need to be shown jajajaja You could add specs and peice or only price at the mentioned store
For $1850 I’m expecting more than 165hz, so many 240hz to 360hz options nowadays. 165hz looks smooth and is good enough don’t get me wrong but at this price I just expect more
@@TTony When my eyes get used to 165hz after playing on it for a while it looks normal but doing a side by side comparison with 240hz the difference is definitely noticeable
Depends though on the quality of the panel for the model you choose. Obviously a faster and better panel is going to push the price up. And even if you do get the 240hz or more it’s usually FHD. I care more for QHD so I’d go to 120hz if I had to over 240hz FHD. It’s a preference of resolution and how it translates quality on the screen providing the gpu can handle it. Trust me you’ll enjoy 160hz better at qhd ultra than 360hz fhd ultra settings - if you’re even going to achieve that which is not going to be possible but for a few e titles.
@@mdottee a gimmick for people with money. When you hit a wall there’s no reason to go further. So just add something you don’t need but it sells because now there’s newer faster = better out there. Nobody needs above 240hz.
1500 dollars is a fraction of the cost of your pc? How much does your pc cost? 20k dollars? Also the specs arent even that good for that price. The processor is mid for the price and 512gb storage and 16gb ram is how much my 500 dollar laptop has. The gpu wont save you either.
Have you seen what happens to frame rates when you max the settings? Because I can’t even hit 240fps for my 240hz monitor with a 13900k, 4090, and 32gb of 6400mhz cl 32 ram In a regular match that is
Fortnite is literally the most demanding game for pcs right now, an rtx 4090 i9 13900k would get way more fps in cyberpunk with max graphics than in Fortnite with max graphics
I hate when these people are testing out Pc’s or Laptop’s they use FORTNITE like come on try other games not everyone gonna buy an expensive gaming laptop like that just to run Fortnite we also wanna try other games like Red Dead Redemption, Microsoft flight Simulator, etc or any games that require very costly and good specs just playing Fortnite wont help me determine if it’s worth my money since I don’t know what’s the limit it can do and what games it can’t run
You know you gotta say that you got it for free, right? I’m a laptop person but even I know that the laptop is more expensive and has less performance than a similarly speced desktop.
You are actually correct.I literally just bought a gaming laptop for music production and the very first thing in the user manual is the safety instructions. The safety instructions clearly state, that this notebook needs to be used on a flat stable surface. Never use this notebook on your lap, bed, or other uneven surface. Sobasically these are not even laptops anymore they are being touted as notebooks. The fact that we call them laptops and the first thing in the manual says never use it on your lap... They keep referring to it as a notebook. Rip us claling them laptops@@Butterscotch_96
For those wondering: The Omen 16 is $1,149 A desktop PC with similar specs w/ a 144Hz 24" monitor is about ~$1,800 So a "fraction" of the price may be a bit of an exaggeration but nonetheless, still cheap. Edit: All you nerds in the replies I swear. I didn't want to write an essay detailing every single difference about the specs of a desktop and laptop so I simplified it for everyone else. Also, if you haven't heard, pricing can change all the time, at the time of writing it was x amount of dollars but now its +/- x amount. Y'all need to stop being keyboard warriors and go touch grass.
@@Ruben.tariganI watched some guy on youtube that says you can just buy a cheapo laptop and remote desktop to your pc. Just saying though, i do own a laptop myself. You do have a point if you decided to play anywhere else though, carrying a pc for gaming is a pain
Doesn’t say graphics, ram or processor? So similar I.E brands but performance is probably huge gap. Laptops always suffer with overheating unfortunately which ultimately leads to them lasting a few years before massive performance drops
Legion 5 Pro Ryzen 7 6800H 3070Ti 32GB DDR5 1TB SSD was the best deal I have ever spent for 1500 at Microcenter and sold out in 2 weeks. I slapped on an extra WD SN850X 4TB and going to hold onto it for 5 years minimum, no need PC. Omen and HP themselves are mediocre in gaming for years.
As someone who got duped into buying a gaming laptop because of specs.....a mobile GPU is not the same as a desktop GPU. Always check this and see whether the performance loss is worth it
The video is a ad for amd as if you look closely he removed the nvidia sticker. If its sponsored, just say it. Dont lure costomers into thinking its a extremely good life changing computer when its just a sponsored video. Bad job bro.
Yeah, no. Laptops ultimately always suck. The "legendary" Zephyrus G14 everyone loved a couple years ago, my screen burnt out a year later, it overheats regularly and I wish I never bought this crap
sure... a fraction as if even if it was the price of the pc the mobile version of 4070 is 50% less performant straight up, ryzen is more energy efficient so it may get close to pc performance but still bad ad
Gaming laptops are overpriced and despite having those apparently insanely high specs they're so toned down compared to desktop PCs In a nutshell an average desktop gaming PC is far more worth it
guys for the time being there will never be a laptop stronger than a [c with the same specs , especially since the gpu isnt getting the full wattage compared to a desktop one so for the time being stop beleiving these youtubers who just get paid money from companies to promote their devices
Even if you have a rtx 4090 in both pc and laptop, the laptop gpu will perform worse because it has a completely different chip, can not draw as much power and can't produce as much heat. Just imagine a laptop with a GPU that draws 400W. That thing would overheat and kill the battery faster than you die in a COD match
@bordiandras5927 exactly. And I think it is misinformation when people say that. How bad it is depends on what they know, and I guess this youtuber doesn't know much
be warned omen has the shittiest quality and reliability and they just offer better specs for cheaper so ull think its worth it. the corners cut are ensuring the product lasts post warranty
Hey mat, idk if you'll see my comment but, i just got scammed by a guy who was impersonating you so i just wanna know if you have any suggestions for me
