As someone who played the game blind, I agree: that mission's quite difficult. I'd highly recommend having one of the 2 peaches on your team (since they can heal escorts, and sentries if that ever matters.) Might have to go for gold in post-game; just play it safe and take your time! Give it another shot, try some new strategies, and I'm sure you can reach that finish line.

@@superninja_youtube and I’d recommend never using normal peach as even when you do want a healer for maps you can’t just beat in one or two turns rabid peach is the best character with a heal that can heal escorts ( rabid Luigi is arguably a better healer otherwise). Most of peach’s kit actively makes other abilities of hers worse like the fact that she can’t stay too close to Allies without harming them with her shotgun if you use her over watch but she can’t be far away from them if she’s healing them. You kinda have to just only sometimes heal with peach and if you only heal every other turn when she can just toss a duck rabid peach heals far more. There’s also just the fact that a lot of maps can be beaten in 1 to 2 turns with more offensive loadouts and preventing damage tends better ( for example yoshi guaranteeing rabid yoshi or rabid Mario stone works fantastically for this)

I did actually use him for a few levels, but found ranged secondary weapons to be more useful overall.

Simplified version: Mario cannot Move but can be used to team jump with the other two. Mario must live each battle and Yes can be healed by peach and Rabbid Peach.

A valid school of thought, but one that I personally feel doesn't apply since you're literally pressing the Shoot button.

I wouldn’t say he’d be considered as “shooting” by simply picking up things and throwing them. (And he doesn’t even have a gun, just a lovely Bananarang and a ground pound).

He should at least have been playable in Versus Mode

@@DrRank I agree. (Even Rabbid Cranky should’ve been there too) Also, I think a shot-less run of Sparks of Hope would mostly consist of Rabbid Luigi (He’s technically not shooting, just tossing a disk), Rabbid Mario (Gauntlets) and Edge (Sword)

Why this is the case is simple. The building where mushroom kingdom residents can get a gun license was destroyed before the Mario cast got pulled into the world created due to the pull of the vortex tearing it apart.
