Its not illegal if they pay winners with store merchandise or prepaid gas cards its illegal to pay out cash but 90% of stores in my city pays cash to reg customers that they know aren't cops some time they slip up and get busted and only get a slap on the wrist (misdemeanor and small fine)

That's the work around on it. It's not a slot machine. It's a skill based game machine where the player can rotate one of the columns.

If it pays all the taxes in the state of Georgia then they can pay out if they don't then they cannot pay out but everyone does it either way legally if they know you

Way it works here is you take your winnings in store credit.... with which you can use to buy lotto tickets From my understanding, that's what most people do. I don't gamble so I'm not 100%

@@ThoroughlyBaked yes legally they can pay out prepaid gas cards and store credit everything but beer and tobacco products but almost every store in my city will pay out cash if your a regular customer and they know your not a police. They get busted all the time for doing it and its only a misdemeanor charge and small fine compaired to the money they make from the people gambling for cash back instead or store merchandise. I have a friend thats addicted to playing them and ive seen him gamble away his whole $2000 tax return in one sitting and then be mad at the store owner (like its the owners fault he lost) instead of being mad at himself!!! Im pretty sure that some of these stores make more money off the machines than they do from the whole store youll know which ones they are because they will have all the merchandise bunched up so close together you have to turn sideways to walk down the aisles to make room for the 10 - 15 gambling machines!!
