The moment I connect iPad Air to Apple Pencil and start taking notes, my iPad heats up insanely, draining battery very fast. Even the charging stops (I don't charge while taking notes) due to heat. Is this normal?

I don’t think this is normal I didn’t have any of that The pen does get a bit hot sometimes if it is charging But not the ipad getting hot

I have a m1 Macbook and an Iphone SE 2020, being a computer major student should i go with an iPad (pro) or a bigger screen iPhone like 14, or should i go with a better bigger Android Phone for now and ipad later?? (getting iPad later will be fine, i got no issues) (And I’m a person who loves to use high refresh rate screens)

I'm late, but iphone 13 pro max + ipad air might be right for you. Or if you really need an ipad with high refresh rate I'd recommend getting the 2020 refurbished ipad pro. But if power is your main concern then just get the newer model. Also android phones are great too but if you already have an iphone and a macbook it'll be easier to do things.
