Gamlehaugen is His Majesty the King's official residence in Bergen. The building is owned by the state. It is managed by Statsbygg Vest and the King has disposal rights, and in the summer it is open for tours.
Around Gamlehaugen there is a beautiful park in English design, with a lush and rich selection of different bushes, plants and trees. The park is open to the public and is a favorite place for recreation with swimming and walking.
