The shoe just screams "Buy with with your Christmas money kids!" I dunno it's a weird colour way to throw on the twelves, especially with no back story
If the blue is two toned I figure you probably wouldn't like it on tumbled leather either. I saw a pics on IG people were posting and though they were fake because the colors. Thanks for clearing up the colors.
In my opinion this is a great shoe the color way stands out & the red adding on to it makes it look even better! The new buck looks great on it I honestly think the tumbled leather would make it look nasty. I love these. Idc about the small different blue thing you can only notice it if somebody gets close enough to smell your shoe.. It's a dope shoe & color way. In my opinion!
I honestly hated the shoe at first but now I like it a lot I will definitely have to cop and I feel like the nubuck makes the shoe if it was tumble leather i wouldn't of liked it at all

I wasn't a fan so I got the Gamma 11's. I like the Gamma's over the Breds just because the Breds are so played out. But my favorite 11 of all times is the Columbia. But top 3 would have to be the Columbia, anniversary 11's, and then the gamma's.
i personally love this shoe the hits of red contradict the blue so well makes the shoe pop the two tones are barely noticable if your actually wearing them and i like the nubuck its a really good quality nubuck and nubuck is more expensive then suede so they put good quality on this shoe if they used a tumbled leather similar to the taxis wich i didnt like i wouldnt have copped after all it is my opinion to each his own

I have the rising sun 12s and the only thing that turned me off on the shoe is the absolutely pointless perforations along the upper. The quality was also pretty crappy IMO but still an aight colorway
I feel like if they did blend the colors on the midsole and on the sole it woulda looked a little weird. It would just look a little off to me. I like the different colors on the midsole and on the sole just because of that.
I had a pair and instantly traded it off because I was let down, it would've been dope if they were white leather black leather would've been dope too but it looks like they just used left over material
They should've done these like melos old jordan 12 away pe with the black leather and blue bottoms. Like the playoffs but blue. Cuz the nubuck sucks and the gamma blue is 2 diff colors. Would've loved these in black leather like the old melo pe
Total let down, I think sometimes nike and jordan gets carried away with a color like gamma blue or green glow then they just start slapping it on every shoe they have. I think it's fine in moderation and it's cool to get new colorways on classic shoes, but sometimes it just doesn't work like these in my opinion
I love the 12s but I think the gamma blue just doesn't look good to me, It's the same for those all infrared 6s coming out soon.. some colours only look good in small amounts.. the 11s look better because it's not all over the shoe.. but I really like the powder blues 3s lol I don't know why though haha just dig it cause it's different. just my opinion of course.
I felt the same about the KD 5 DMV. When I bought it the volt on the outsole looked more like an electric green then a highlighter yellow. The swoosh was an actual volt color though.
You prolly hate the red on the cherry xii's too then...lol. that's a petty complaint about this shoe. At least glue marks were minimum...but I digress.
Total let down for me too. I was filming an unboxing when I saw it on camera and thought there was something really wrong haha. The quality on my shoe was horrible too. The glue connecting the side panel and the midsole was coming apart already. Check my pic out on IG at jsugikaiju1 really disappointed in nike and Jordan's quality control
WOW!! The "sneaker heads" now and days are so picky. Unless your a fucking freak that's going to be examining the shoe you won't tell the difference in color. Obviously if you don't like the shoe because it has nubuck over full grain leather that's fine, but to say the colors don't match (where the color is only 1 tone lighter/ darker)... That's fucking ridiculous!!! Well we all have our opinions in life, hope everyone has a swell 2014!!!
