I understand to the newbie “1600 FPS” sales and also does in the minds of the Marketers posting this on the box, BUT to the novice and wise shooter this just tells us that this gun will push the ACTUAL PELLETS we would really use to the speed we need and puts a heavier pellet right in the sweet spot for energy and accuracy from a hunting stand point.
That's how I take it. I mean they literally say; " maximum possible results, with this specific ammo, under ideal conditions ". If that's not a good benchmark to reference, then I don't know what is because that's a great standard almost everyone can conceptualize.
I'm supprised the AA 10.3's and the JSB 10.34's weren't very close in accuracy as there practically the same pellet, just from different dies maybe, but both made by JSB.
I wonder if you would do better off hand with the Magnum instead of Magnum Pro. The Magnum is often said to be for smaller people. I really wanted two Magnums and two Vipers. I did both of them in .22 for the Magnum and did .177 and .22 for the Viper.
Lol 1600fps using an ammo that no one uses. How about being an honest company and stop lying to your consumer's Gamo. You can't reach those numbers shooting anything but ultra light ammo that is not accurate and no good for hunting.
Totally agree with that , to be accurate you would need a much heavier pellet to bring it down in the high 800's . Really the only way to be on target . Its funny they use 1600 fps to sell a product . Pellets can keyhole going that fast as well having fliers . My Airforce Talon SS 20 caliber was doing over 1000fps so I detuned it . Sounded like 22 LR . 🙂
@joedokes8641 It is a slap in the face to the customer. If, Honda told you they are selling a civic that goes 200 miles an hour but when you purchased it you find out that is only if they use rocket fuel and at that it couldn't reach 300 mph even with the fuel you would call them a dishonest company. How is this any different. It about time these unscrupulous company's get regulated!!!!! Gamo/ crosman for example you will never get another purchase from me until I see you have respect for the people who keep you in business
Needed a nitro piston and a piston seal for my $300 gamo magnum igt mach1 and called gamo to order it... they told me they don't sell parts for their products...lol😂.. what garbage..i literally put a gamo magnum.22 in the trashcan because its impossible to buy maintenance items...gamo=junk...
It is funny that you can easily get spare parts for guns like B2 and B3 air rifles but not for gamo😂 also the cheapest Weihrauch is still better than the best Gamo

I know this is a little late, but slugs, or at least the ones I have, were to long to fit into the rotary magazine. It could just be mine, I got them for a bolt loading rifle with a massive breach.
The trigger is not that good because it's a cheap made as hell plastic trigger. Just like it has a plastic breech block, and barrel locking detent. Those plastic pieces are what makes gamo trash. While they still work right they are powerful and accurate, but just wait till those plastic parts start wearing and your accuracy will start diminishing along with the parts. Crosman, hatsan, and a lot of other rifles use steel for all of those parts and are a fraction of the price making them better. I have 3 gamo, 2 Crosman, 1 hatsan. The last 3 will always be my go to unless I'm just shooting for fun. My magnum .177 is fun to shoot, I can't lie. Just wish I didn't pay 346 bucks for a gamo magnum after seeing all the plastic.
