A little video to ease you into Rings of Power. 2 more crackers to finish the fellowship, particularly been looking forward to show you this one and Boromir's demise. Lothlorien death now on Patreon: www.patreon.com/CharlieHopkinson
@@CharlieHopkinson BFME 1 & 2 were great, when anyone talks about leveling up a LOTR character, those are the games I think of. I'm curious what Gandalf thinks about those games.
I love the reference to Boromir not wanting to fly on the eagles, as that’s exactly what Sean Bean did on set. He refused to take the helicopter to the snow scenes so he walked and mountain climbed his way there.
@@insidemyhead22 yeah, he climbed up there in full Boromir outfit, while the others just took the helicopter waving down at him xD It's in a couple of interviews.
I always thought it was nice of Gandolf to basically shout his resume at the Balrog on the bridge. Really good distraction technique. As if the Balrog would have gone: Ohhh. That's impressive! Well..off you go then!
I’m going through some rough stuff and this channel is literally sustaining me with much needed laughs living on a weird couch in my girl’s hospital room when all I can do is wait for days
Charlie - "FFS I can't get the AI to do a Gimli face his beard is messing up the software!" Also Charlie - "Hold on lads 🤔 ............. I've got a Great idea!"
@@dozyproductionss When filming the scenes on Caradhras for LotR all the others were flown up there by helicopter but Sean wouldn't do that so he got up every day before dawn to walk up there ;D
Boromir: "Alright, OK, what's the second meaning?" Gandalf: "The second--and more important--secret meaning is . . . " he said in a low whisper . . . "I think you're all idiots." 😂 And here I was thinking he was going to say that it was a reference to using the eagles to literally fly to Mordor. Well played, Charlie, well played
The whole point of the fellowship was to travel in secret. The eagles would have been spotted from miles away. They could only fly to Mordor after Sauron was defeated.
I like it when Charlie and Gandalf have their moments. The Gollum mug tops it all though, kinda like the Viking s drinking from the skull of the enemy🤣
Didnt gandalf have spare eagle for gollum even in the end? He did see some good in him... Or maybe he just took the head from the volcano so he can make a mug out of it :D
Please make same content for Two towers and return of the king, we might not be outspoken like star war fans, but LOTR Fans are hardcore and I really like what you do with impression’s Thanks for all the efforts
Can't wait for your reaction to Rings of Power mate. The first episode was dreadful, but your reaction will make it incredibly entertaining and hilarious!
I've always thought that Sauron's eye must be like a big magnifying glass under the sun, so if the eagles did go to Mordor they would just be burnt like a ant. Good timing on them for going right after the eye was destroyed.
4:11, Like how they're saying their's a lava lake at the bottom of the cavern. 7:24, The energy bubble isn't even the end of it in these films. Just wait until Boromir sees Gandalf blasting apart rocks with a tap of his staff instead of just making a bridge more brittle in An Unexpected Journey. It's still pretty funny that Gandalf here mentions using his power in significant ways tires him.
I was going to go to sleep, but seeing this and remembering what an absolute joy they are, I decided that one of my most important biological functions could wait just a little bit longer.
What I love about these is that you can enjoy both the roasts and the original material. Everyone is having fun unlike ROP when the scenes from that show appear a person can get a bit queasy and you're glad that Gandalf and crew suddenly leap in to save you with a few choice witty quips.
At least Gandalf got more satisfaction out of watching everyone’s reactions to his death than poor Qui-Gon RIP 😂😅 Thank you again, Charlie, for the delightful laughs and stellar voice acting! Looking forward to ROP2
I still cant get over how WB decided to use the music playing as Gandalf falls as the music for the first Man of Steel TEASER Trailer they released. Not related at all but shows the power of Howard Shore. Gandalf or Superman the music fits both I guess???
