Albert Einstein's comment on Mahatma is a bitter truth. People now and in the coming generations just can't accept the greatness of anyone.
@rohankelkar8860
@rohankelkar8860 11 месяцев назад
Einstein's words are not remotely true. I believe there have been at least three men, far more extraordinary than Gandhi: Shakespeare, Da Vinci and Lincoln. There may have been more. Gandhi may indeed have been an extraordinary man. But to say that no one else was as extraordinary as him, remains incorrect. Even on a relativistic basis.

@@rohankelkar8860and your judgements/perceptions are clearly proof that it is based on somebody's Appearances & the stories narrated by others to you, and that you value people by what others thought of any concerned person, rather than their, an individuals' thoughts, volitions and actions from your own personal analysis. Because, Shakespeare & Da Vinci were artists whose Stories(basically Literature) through Words, Poems, Arts & Paintings, which were time and again marketed, sold, once again and again auctioned to keep its value very high, while Lincoln came from working class of people to become politician, while Einstein's contribution was towards Science & Scientific Research predominantly the Theoretical Aspects of Physics, and when you look at similarities, English is the connecting Language, which is deep rooted now in the Indian Education System. So, yes it had been well narrated work of literature & arts combined with story telling tactics to twist your thinking style. Are there any Truths in what Shakespeare had written ? Or was it Romantic, Dramatic, Poetic & Gave Pleasure to the Senses to its readers to forget Reality ? Now, tell me, what is your Mother Tongue & Father Tongue ? Have you ever asked your Biological Parents, what Life was like for them, that is, before you were born, or during their Childhood ? When you do experience the past through the Life of your own parents eyes, you will realise what a Great Man Mahatma Gandhiji was, because every moment he breathed for the welfare of Human Beings and Humanity, through this planet.

@@rohankelkar8860😂😂😂 what are you on about? Shakespeare? Da Vinci? One was a playwright other was a painter both geniuses in their own right but did nothing to ever change the system they were born in and used their genius to play the system for personal gains. When did either of them do anything that was against their interests for people around them? Also Lincoln might be close but still falls short if you really read about the details around civil war, his backroom politics, real motivations for fighting the south had nothing to do with slavery and his actions with the press of those times. While I agree Gandhi may not be the greatest but atleast give better alternatives.

@@Morphysince94 Dumb@$s leftist here are the facts to stop your verbal loose motion. - On December 30th, 1943, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, the Supreme Commander of the Azad Hind, created a historic moment by hoisting the Indian National Flag for the first time on the soil of Port Blair - 14th April 1944 is a significant date in the history of the Indian Freedom Struggle. On this day, the Indian National Army (INA) hoisted the flag at Moirang, Bishnupur district, Manipur - Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi said that Mahatma Gandhi's Non-Cooperation movement had little impact, but it was the military resistance of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose that led to the exit of Britishers from India. - When Clement Attlee visited India after independence, he told that Bose and his INA were responsible for India's independence, to Phani Bhusan Chakraborty as he asked him why did the British left India so soon. Attlee said that Gandhi's contribution was m-i-n-i-m-a-l, that is nothing. Netaji angrezo ki le rahe thay left right and center.

strictly as a film ..it is a good movie...I mean acting direction camera editing and so on... but this movie doesn't tell the whole truth about gandhi.. I read the disclaimer given at the beginning that it won't be possible to cover it all... I will elaborate... there was violent revolution going on parallel.... mostly unsuccessful. but youth was getting attracted to such movement.. people like bhagat singh , chandrashekhar azad etc.. so while describing non-violence why didn't director mentioned what was the violence that gandhi was opposing and insists on non-violence.. not a single scene about such huge movement going on parallel.. britishers used gandhi to divert attention from revolutionary movements.. gandhi was parachuted leader ..didn't born out of soil..he traveled extensively on the behest of mr gokhale and understood the pulse of the nation.. he had good knowledge about the british laws.. he knew it very well where it hurts to government and so where to a pinch...all said.. britishers also knew their laws and playing chess moves ... who won and who lost ?? 25:30 this is the Toilet/Latrine used by all these people, living there as a community, isnt it ? And Gandhi explains, everybody who uses the Toilet/Latrine take turns in keeping it clean! Isn't it quite explanatory ? And it was his wife Kasturba Gandhi, who discriminates the work, taking pride in saying, it is the profession of the Untouchables ? Why ? And she says 'Gandhi is afterall a Human', is she not a Human then ?! Why must the Untouchables be it man or woman, clean other peoples' Poop, Urine, Vomits, Blood, Sanitary Napkins, Public Sanitation Facilities, the Dead & the Decomposed ? While the privileged class of people themselves, Individually cannot clean their own buttocks properly or let alone their Individual Families' or Communities sanitation facility clean !? Time & again, isnt this the problem, Cleanliness ?

PB Chakraborty asked that since 1942 Quit India Movement was totally suppressed & in 1945 Allied Forces emerged Victorious. Then why Britishers left India in 1947, the reason is the mutiny in Royal Navy & Royal Airforce & Army . INA led by Bose succeed to erase the loyalty among British Indian Soldiers that led to force Britishers if they didn't not leave India then there were the same circumstances as happened in 1857 revolt .

India, a country divided by religions, regions, caste, creed and social hierarchy, was 'united' and brought together for the 'first time' as 'one nation' where the poor walked with the rich, the Hindu walked with the Muslim, the untouchable walked with the brahmin, shoulder to shoulder, under the divine guidance of Mahatma Gandhi, to launch the 'largest human non violent- non cooperation movement' against the most powerful Empire in the World.
