Dave's vocal technique has improved so fucking much. Always been a great frontman and singer because of his charisma and tone, but his vibrato etc. is incredible now

On top of the fact that they have a stellar catalogue in their own right - EVERY cover they do is just pure magic! This is no exception. David’s voice is just perfection. That gorgeous silky tone… That smooth deeper baritone mixed with his absolutely beautiful upper range - and the way he can be both powerful and gentle with all that control…. I’d listen to him sing anything

Today in my mails: hey everybody, great news! all of our like a version covers are now available to be streamed everywhere. these covers bring back a lot of amazing memories. ‘all my friends’ by lcd soundsystem has been one of our favourite tunes for the entire existence of the band. it was a magnificent opportunity to do the track and it came together so instinctively. ‘blood’ by the middle east is one of the greatest indie tracks to come from our homeland so it was special for a million reasons as well. with our most recent like a version we wanted to pick something dave would love to sing. travis are heroes for us, such extraordinary songwriting and musicianship. anyway we think dave sounded fucking magical singing it so “why does it always rain on me” was obviously the right choice. have a great weekend, we'll see you at a show. This song played on the radio on a very bad morning and sticks with me as the memories of that tough time but also bring back happy memories at the same time. I am glad I can look back on the hard times and the struggle with this song, it just makes me so happy.

For more than 10 years I had the Song "Parachute" from Guster tagged as "Parachutes" from Coldplay. I loved the Song and it was my all time fav from coldplay for so long. Then I found out it was not from Coldplay at all. :D Looks like someone had fun back then on the p2p networks.
