Video encompassing the breathtaking view of the Ganges in the Himalayas, from the beach of Vashishtha Gufa.
Vashishtha Gufa is a fantastically charged cave used by the ancient sage Vashishta for meditations and as a winter adobe. It cathces hold of you as soon as you step inside to meditate. The energy that lingers in the cave is typical of the solar dynasty of kings and sages, called the Rishis of Surya Vansh.
The rapids along the cave are frequented by river rafters every now and then. The beach is partly rocky, and partly fine white sand, and leads to Arundhati Gufa.
The head priest at the temple built around the gufa (cave) is a disciple of Swami Purushottamananda, from the lineage of Ramkrishna Paramhansa.
It lies in the Tehri Garhwal District and is well connected by the Karnaprayag-Rishikesh road.
