I go through all the Russian dolls of stories, every doll representing an underlying believe. The last one is always the fear of losing ground. Under the fear is the pain, and if the pain is allowed it turns into love. In an instant. And by love I can see that the story of missing brought me to the reality of fulfillment. And the fulfillment leads me to honor all stories as expressions of the divine. Because you will never fit in one story...but you can express in thousands! love gangaji!!!
GangaJi has such clarity, her peace and warmth is present. There is no use judging her "person" because then one misses the message that can mean transcendence. Sometimes the message we need to hear comes in different forms and we could miss it because we are busy judging. I feel such resonance with people like her who have resonate with what they say. Very few like her.
This is the first time I have seen Gangaji interviewed. I think it was great. She has helped me more in the past year than other teachers although I love them all and learn from everyone. I've been meditating daily for about four years. Her message to "STOP" was amazing. Guess what? It worked. Things are happening. It is so much fun. So much love and so much happiness. So much spaciousness...Thank you Gangaji.
I thank you deeply for this interview...I was one of the few who didn't know Gangaji. Words can't even describe how grateful I am to have found Gangaji and her teachings. Truth and clarity emanate from her being and call me to stop and "tell the truth" also.
I love this... She seems so humble and like someone you could have a coffee with. I am not in awe. And yet... she has this presence. Clean, genuine, and just plain honest. If I'm gullible, then so be it. Rather feel like this than bitter and twisted.
I have enjoyed gangaji in my life for the last two years as guide and teacher. she is human and her choices have allowed her a beautiful progressive spiritual path. she has taught me that when i make mistakes or errors, to be neutral, forgive, and allow my silence within to cleanse my heart and mind with clarity. Basically, to shift from being that negative circumstance(s) to becoming a positive Being and nothing more or less, I know myself, void of outside definintions. thank you Gangagi. :)
What this truly is does not change based on your determination of anything. . the energy of criticizing 'another' is only an appearance criticizing another appearance. the determination if someone is a 'real' teacher or not is also not real. So any attempt to debunk, criticize, or diminish another (at any place or time in the universe) is actually just another appearance. The trick is to stop taking a surface reading. If you are presenting an opinion, a reading of the surface, then how is that any different than the surface itself? The truth does not waste time or energy on judgments. In truth, there is a place for everything, a moment for each being, and it remains untouched and unaffected by anything whatsoever.

The first level of enlightenment according to Ramana is realize you are what you are seeking, that seeking obscures the ever present truth. One knows without doubt that what they are is beyond any concept whatsoever.. (positive or negative), the pure and stainless Self beyond all doubt. Seeking and personal volition then ends forever.. if volition isn't gone then it hasn't really happened. Then what happens next is according to the intelligence of the Divine itself..More happens for sure but that can't be taught. probably why most teachers are working at the first stage, because beyond that that intelligence takes over.
i just want to find out if there is any help for ppl who go through a spiritual crisis post,their. first rising that happens in there lives....basically when ppl go bipolar and cause a lot of damage and suffering to themselves and their near ones......please if their is any help wud anyone please please let me know.....this is a prayer unto all those masters who can help.
Well said and I think you're correct! Also, regarding not being a woman, women are more attached to the material world than men are (I've heard). This has implications.
I hope she had an adventure with one of her many admirers...And what if she want to tighten up? in our days we can help with looking less like a bulldog so why not? If I had big pockets under my eyes or other and some cash why not fix it gently? For me it is attitude of persons that i judge, I don't see her wearing make up, gold or fancy clothes, so she is still genuine for me.
@SuperPapi303 Gangaji went through a crisis when she found out her husband was having an affair just a few years back, and she gave an interview where she talked openly about how it really threw her for a loop at first...maybe the surgery was a reaction to that. Also, comparing Ramana to Gangaji...well, there is no comparison, as wonderful as she is.
Yes, the plastic surgery is a bit of a paradox to say the least. But, as Rick points out in the below post, perhaps plastic surgery is just one thing along a continuum of self care for women. Who knows! I had a friend (Amber Terrel) who became enlightened through her interaction with Gangaji,so she does bring the cosmic juice, so to speak!
My perception is that you're over-reacting. Remember what you're experiencing is your own emotional filtering and interpretation, and not necessarily the intended communication. It's a difficult position to attempt to answer one person's question, and to have your answer scrutinized by anyone who chooses to look in from any random angle. "Forgive them, Father; they know not what they do..."

Ramakrishna of Calcutta used to desire fried sweets intensely, but on further inquiry it was found that he had to make these kind of desires on the surface to keep from leaving the body. AMMA makes a resolve everytime she sings bhajans to come back to the body for the sake of compassion. dont be so foolish to let your mind try to comprehend the Masters actions.
I don't doubt that Rick has seen Amma watching soap operas. I was good friends with the woman who hosted Amma when she came to Iowa. I've spent a lot of time in that house, and I've seen that a number of devotees get involved in preparing for her and providing for her when she comes. You bring up an interesting possibility that even if she does, it might not be evidence of her ordinariness, but rather a purposeful choice to move into ordinariness in order to better connect with people. I know a shop-owner who drinks soda to lower her vibration so that she can better connect with her customers. But I don't think Amma would care if people see her as ordinary in some respects. And I don't think seeing her as ordinary takes away from the benefit a devotee receives from her. I don't see her in any particular way, but I almost fainted after receiving her darshan. I think Rick's whole point is that ordinariness isn't incompatible with God-realization.
Yes. That was my point. And I'd add that ordinariness isn't incompatible with extraordinariness. Amma does all sorts of "ordinary" things to set an example. Like the time she jumped into a cesspool and started a bucket brigade, emptying it one bucket of sewage at a time until she could reach and clear a clogged pipe with her bare hands. People say the smell was so bad they could barely come near without vomiting. I doubt she has much time for soap operas, but she might like to chill a bit now and then. BTW Chamaigne, Vaju's sister is the star of the soap opera Amma was rumored to have watched.
Ah. It wouldn't surprise me then if Amma watched the soap opera with Vaju, because it was family. I used to work with Vaju and she would frequently say that she wanted to send me to India to be a soap opera star with her sister, because I was such a "pretty pretty girl". She is sweet. I miss her.
