Gansbaai (directly translated means Goose Bay) is a small fishing town about 160km east (2 hours drive) from Cape Town. It is known for shark cage diving because of its dense population of great white sharks. But it offers much more as an adventure holiday destination for fishing, running, cycling, rowing, swimming and walking on long stretches of safe beaches.
