Don't know if it's just me, but the older I get, the more comfortable I am carrying a smaller folder in my pocket, especially when traveling. This little gem is just what the doctor prescribed. Thanks for the great review.

I'm geting to be the same with carrying a small knife .I just guess big knifes don.t mean that much that we older guys think we have to carry big knifes any more .don.t get me wrong I do like to carry a big knife once in a while .but I've come to know that a small knife is really all I need. Getting older is becoming scary .

I'm 17, i picked up a 1.5 inch-ish bladed spiderco knock off from a friend. It's been nice having something really tiny and sharp to carry everywhere. I have a boker magnum special forces knife, it's great but a bit big to use in public areas (about 3.8 inches) , in that aspect it's great to have a small knife like y'all said already.

i see a pattern here as all my friends that are my age are into smaller blades. and the guys that are 20 years ahead of me have this thing for small dogs. it's weird.

I'll never regret buying this little beauty. So light, such a great steel, and, wow! this baby has a very nice finger choil, which the Delica doesn't have. I wanted a very thin blade knife to take my travels, and up to now, my Opinel no 8 had it all together (still does). This baby, however, has a thinner blade than the Opinel, and it just doesn't stop slicing! Contrary to many comments about the F759M being the least favorable Firebird knife, I think this is one of the very best. Great small knife.

I bought several of these on flash sales. They are very well made, have nested steel liners and bronse washers. Yes, the design is borrowed from Spyderco/Byrd. No, it is not a clone and does not pretend to be a Spyderco or Byrd.

I've got a couple. Very useful knife and great weight. Easy to sharpen. A bit difficult to reassemble , I took both mine apart and polished up the pivots and blades on a Dremel. As I said a pig to put back together but now they are just super smooth and excellent slicers. Always have one on me an they're the knife I hand someone if they need to borrow a knife. So much for so little. As someone else said these really aren't a downgrade from the meadow lark since they use better steel and Ganzo are pretty serious about quality control in my experience.

I own multiple budget knives, including Ontario Rat1, Spyderco Tenacious and others, but for a while my favorite has been the Ganzo G729, which is a Paramilitary clone variant. I've been looking at the F759M for something a bit smaller and I think it's a no brainer for 10$ CAD, thanks for the review

A 440c ganzo 759 a downgrade from a Byrd? 8cr13mov byrd is the downgrade. The ganzos a downgrade, why because it cost $10 less? Ok, it's cheaper but it's no downgrade.

I own this knife, it is a good knife...I also owned a Delica. Hands down buy the F759 for the price difference. Its better than the Meadowlark as well. My Meadowlark had blade play and a chipped blade after some use, Ganzo is still tight in all directions after a couple months of use. Byrd steel is no good.

Great little utility knife. Another RU-vid reviewer points out that the scales are not rounded nor as well fit as the Spydercos and that there is a bit of flex in the blade side to side. For $10 you are getting a nice value though. The ergonomics are there just the same. Opens with ease, fits the hand nice and has good steel for the price. Thanks for the review.

I have since bought the G7522, F753M1, G8012, G7511, F7562 and have on order the F720 + G7542 WD2. The F753M1 is a similar size to this one but with a G lock and is probably my most used knife. Why do people keep prying with their knives? My idiot brother brother did that and snapped the tip off an early 70's limited edition schrade trapper with a carbon steel blade, a gift from his father-in-law. Carry a victorinox, use the stupid can opener to pry with or any of the cheap, light pry tools sold by knife companies.

Mine has a tiny bit of side to side play unless you tighten the pivot to the point its ridiculously difficult to open. Even with the pivot adjusted and well lubed, its rough opening. The edges of the thumb hole are almost sharp, certainly enough to be uncomfortable. You by a $10 knife, you get a $10 knife. Ganzo/Firebird makes some nice knives, but this isn't one of them. Its cheap and it cuts is about all you can say about it.
