Captain here: Gaogaigar is a giant mech built to fight the invasion of mechanical alien lifeforms called ZONDER. Those "heaven and hell" hand pose is actually his final move to finish Zonder Robo, the series motw and to take their zonder core. Because of the extensive usage of "heaven and hell", it damaged gaogaigar's arms so he must use something else. Later, gaogaigar received a tool called "goldion hammer" to replace heaven and hell.
@@peucoman the VITAS is technically only with Genesic GaoGaiGar's Genesic Hell and Heaven (jobby flipped the words around accidentally), but hey, it's cool so i won't judge
to fix loose ratchet joint, or any loose riveted joint, you need a hammer, vise, and two flat punches that fit on rivet front and back. Take figure wrap in paper leaving only rivet exposed. then take first punch and clamp in vise facing up with only a inch exposed, then place the rivet of the figure on the punch in the vise, while holding figure in place make sure thump and index finger are free, place punch between them and over the rivet hold tightly. Take hammer and tap punch down a couple times, check joint, repeat until joint is at desired stiffness,

Watching this review again and again is making me sad I didn't get to pick it up. Also, should you ever be able to, you should totally review the Soul of Chogokin Goldymarg that came out after this. It makes this GaoGaiGar even better~

You can fix a ratchet joint by unscrewing the joint so that it opens up, then placing something inside. A ratchet is based on a spring that presses a tooth to a gear; if the spring is too weak, the weight will overpower it. Putting something on the other end of the spring will give it less space and therefore put more tension on the joint. Try cutting out some paper and sticking it in there - it should tighten the spring up just a little.
Really suprised you didn't try making the transformation really epic and somewhat fast while playing his transformation noises during it. Also jobby I am very disappointed in you your supposed to shout in an Gaogaigar review XD even still it was a good review have a good swivel day
Back in 2022, now waiting on my preorder for the RG gaogaigar. Don't think i'm gonna shell out the cash for a figure that pricey, especially if i can't build it. Edit: didn't get my order in quick enough from HLJ. Getting it from a canadian store, because despite being pricier, i get free shipping. Sad that i have to wait longer though.
